Kenji's POV:
I've been in the drama club for a while now and started noticing that a certain dall sheep caught my attention. His name was Pina. Every time I saw him, he was always watching me work with Kai and Legoshi on the lighting and stuff.
"Have you noticed Pina watching us?" Kai asked.
"Yeah, he's probably staring because I'm a human," I said.
"Eh, fair enough," Kai said with a shrug.
"Think I should confront him?" I asked.
"I don't know, man. Maybe not," Kai said.
"What colour filter should we use that will make the light look less dull?" Legoshi asked.
"I think that red might be the best choice," Pina said, approaching us.
"Hey, Pina," I said as he blushed slightly.
"Whatcha doing?" he asked.
"Trying to find the perfect light filter," I said.
"Nice. Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, would you like to hang out sometime," Pina asked, rubbing the back of his head nervously.
"Uh, sure. When should we?" I asked.
"Hmm... tomorrow at breakfast," Pina said.
"All right, I'm down," I said.
"See ya tomorrow~," Pina said before walking away.
"Did... did Pina ask you on a date?" Kai asked.
"Your guess is as good as mine," I said.
"All right, we have a couple of options for red. Dark, medium, or light?" Legoshi asked, changing the subject.
"Hmm... I think that dark red may be the best choice," I said, examining Pina.
Pina's POV:
Yes! I'm going out with Kenji! I couldn't believe I actually asked him out, and he agreed!
"...na," Bill said.
"PINA!" Bill said, causing me to jolt back to reality.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"You've been spacing out for 8 minutes. What's up with you?" Tem asked.
"Nothing. Just getting caught in my train of thought. Y'know, the usual," I explained, rubbing the back of my head.
"Mhmm, sure," Bill said.
"Wait, why were you speaking with the human?" Tao asked.
"I wanted to get to know him, of course," I said.
"You asked him out?" Bill asked, eyebrow raised.
"Uh, no. Just as friends," I said, turning a deep shade of red.
"The blush says it all," Els said.
"Wait, I'm blushing?" I said, acting clueless.
"Pina, we know by now that you're gay," Juno said.
"I'm not! I talk to everyone the same," I said.
"You sure that you don't want Kenji to use your horns as handlebars?" Bill asked as I turned a deep shade of crimson.
"Bill!" Els gasped.
"Everything okay over here?" Kenji said as he walked over.
"Ooh, it's your boyfriend," Bill said. I huffed at him.
"Boyfriend?" Kenji said as he cocked his head.
"That's enough, Bill," Riz said.
"What? It's fun to tease him," Bill said.
"That's enough, Bill," Kenji said.
"Fine," Bill said as he crossed his arms dramatically.
"Wait a minute, you're gay?" Kenji asked.
"Kenji! That's rude," Els said.
"Uhh... I-I refuse to answer that question," I said as I turned a deep shade of maroon.
"No worries. I am, too," Kenji said.
"Yes! Yes yes yes yes!! Today is my lucky day!" I said internally.
"Well, whilst we're at it, I'm bisexual," Tem said.
"I'm gay," Kibi and Tao said simultaneously before blushing and kissing. Kenji squealed in delight.
"I support y'all," Bill said.
"I'm gay," Riz said, looking at Tem.
"I'm gay," Dom said.
"We knew that already," Kenji said as he rolled his eyes. This earned him a chuckle from Dom.
"Fair enough," Dom said.
"Pina, you have something to say?" Kenji asked.
"I-I... uhm... I," I tried saying.
"Don't you fucking DARE say it," I said internally.
"It's okay, you can say it," Kenji said, placing a hand on my shoulder. I started feeling dizzy and soon blacked out.
Kenji's POV:
"Pina!" I said as I caught him. Everyone turned around and gasped at the sight. Pina's unconscious body lay in my lap.
"I'll go get some water," Legoshi said before he ran off.
"Hang on, Pina. We're gonna get you some help," I said, stroking the side of his face. Soon, a breathless Legoshi returned with the water.
"I... got the... water," Legoshi said as he got closer and crouched to hand me the water.
"W-what happened?" Pina asked as he came to.
"You passed out. Don't worry, I caught you. Here, have some water," I said as we made deep eye contact and handed him the water.
"T-thank you," Pina said before sitting up next to me and chugging the water.
"Someone's thirsty" Bill said.
"Yeah. Just dehydrated," Pina said before looking at me.
"Pina?" I asked.
"Y-yes?," he replied nervously.
"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked.
"Let's discuss this at breakfast tomorrow," Pina said anxiously.
"Okay," I said. With that, everyone else got back to work. Pina and I relocated to a more private area in the club and we talked about our lives and things of the sort.
