Months passed, just when Ae-Cha thought she had found love she realized there was nothing. Since they had met, they had done nothing but go to bed, in fact she understood that for him she was not a wife but only a lover.
On a cold November evening, Ae-Cha once again found herself in the luxurious apartment of Mr. Park.
As she entered Mr. Park's study to leave him a surprise, her gaze fell on a photograph she had never seen before. It was a photo of him with another woman, both of them smiling happily, radiating a happiness that she had never experienced with him. Her anger and pain suffocated her like a grip on her heart. When Mr. Park entered she asked, “ who is this woman?” Ae-Cha held up the photo with a trembling hand, her gaze a mixture of anger and desperation. Mr. Park tried to explain about her, but she didn't want to listen. "Enough, I don't want to hear your excuses. I'm tired of just being your lover. Please, leave." Hrr voice was steady, but inside she felt herself breaking. Mr. Park, struck by surprise and confusion, tried in vain to speak, but finally left the apartment, his heart heavy and his mind in turmoil. Later that night, Ae-Cha heard a knock on the door. She opens to find Mr. Park drunk, his eyes bright with desperation. Before she could push him away, he reached her and kissed her with a desperate passion. Ae-Cha tried to push him away, her words a mix of anger and hurt. "You never saw me as a wife, only as an object to satisfy your needs." Mr. Park, unable to listen or perhaps understand, continued to seek her affection, driven by desperation and need. And in that moment, under the onslaught of emotions and loneliness that she had endured for too long, Ae-Cha let go.
