Run

The escape

It's Thursday. We just woke up. I have packed all of Bardolphs food and water bowl in case we can't find something to put it in. I have a gigantic backpack and have gathered water bottles ever since Tuesday. It's almost completely full of water. Food isn't a problem. I know how to cook and skin animals. Bardolph is a wolfdog so he can hunt.

Grey said he was getting a giant backpack that he used and put his water in. We both agreed to only wear one thing of clothes. It would sweatpants, t-shirt and a tank tops.. It's getting pretty warm so we may bring shorts in case there is like 100 degree weather.

This is scaring me... Because of Bardolph. And if we can find somewhere to sleep.

"Grey!" I yelled trying to get his attention.

"Yes?"

"Ready?"

"After lunch. Please?"

"Fine."

it's passed breakfast, I had to pack.

It's after dinner and the sun is gonna go down in about 2 hours. That means 6 hours before we leave. We leave at 11 where everyone is asleep or supposed to be.

So now we are getting some sleep. I am gonna run through the city tonight so I need some sleep.

It's only 10 now. We are leaving in one hour. I'm getting thirty more minutes of sleep.

I'm gonna go get a couple more waters which shouldn't take long.

I go down the stairs and across the dorms to get Grey.

Uhh... What's his door number again? Whoops...

I slightly knock on each door hoping that he was the only one awake.

*knock knock* I can hear footsteps. The door opened,"Gr- WRONG PERSON" I quickly but quietly close the door.

"Crap!" I fell over the carpeted floor. God why am I so loud!

I heard a door open and looked up.

"Lupa!" Grey said with a little chuckle.

I looked at him and blushed. I bet my face was as red as a tomato.

"Yeah... I kinda fell..."

"I see!" He was still laughing at me. Jerk.

I got up and went into his room.

"Ew. Gross." I said to myself as I saw his gross room. There was clothes everywhere.

"Sorry about my room. I.. Uh.. Couldn't find that backpack."

"Yeah, sure." I said with a smirk.

He shoved me making me almost fall.

"Haha! That's what you get!"

I looked at him and smiled. "Ok, let's get back on subject."

Grey moved some stuff on his bed so I could sit there.

"Ok Grey, you're gonna go down stairs and make sure the cost is clear, I'm gonna have both backpacks. One on Bardolph, and one on me." I said petting Bardolphs head.

"Wait, what if the guards get me?"

"Say you have to go to the bathroom."

"There is one, RIGHT outside the door though!"

"Tell her it was too dark for you."

Grey sighed, "Fine."

Grey opened the door and turned off the light so if there is a guard then I won't get in trouble if she would see me.

Greys P.O.V

I quietly opened the door and turned the light off. I crouched down and went down the hall to the stairs. I looked back at my door to see Lupa looking through the crack in my door.

I went down the stairs to the bottom to see if there is a guard. I looked and saw no lights or people.

I signaled Lupa to come down. When she made it down I felt worried something bad was going to happen. I just shook it off.

We got to the door and looked out the door to see a guard to the left. Then I suddenly felt a tap in my shoulder and looked at Lupa.

She pointed at a dark figure approaching us.

"Hey! Get back here!"

Me and Lupa got up and opened the door and jumped down the little stairs.

"Hey! Get them!"

Now we have about 3 guards after us.

"Run, run, RUN!"

We were coming up on the fence. When we got there Lupa took off her and Bardolphs backpack and threw them over the fence. Bardolph jumped and Lupa pushed him over the fence.

"Hey! Taze them!"

"Lupa!" I got her foot and boosted her up.

I put my foot in the fence and started to climb up when I suddenly felt a sharp shock in my shin.

"Grey!"

Lupas P.O.V

I saw a guard taze Grey. I quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him over the fence. He was almost at the top so I just jumped and grabbed his hand.

Another officer tried to taze me through the fence but missed and hit Bardolph.

I had Grey over the the fence so I'm going after that bastard.

"You bastard!" I said, getting that mans hand. As soon as I grabbed his hand his partner tazed me.

"Do you think I care!" I said fighting off the sting.

"Lupa!" Grey said

I got that bastards hand and turned his hand a full 360. Breaking it.

He screamed in pain as I saw Grey get off the ground and put on his backpack.

I turned around and started to help Bardolph get up. He was hit in his right back leg and limped around. I put on my backpack and we started off into the night. Alone. In the city.

We started off into the woods. Well, our way there.

We heard sirens about every hour and sometimes saw them pass.

We were waking for 4 hours before we got to the forest. We were tired from walking, and running.

We walk through the woods as I see a tree that's been carved out of. There is 3 that look like big enough for all of us.

Bardolph gets the tree that has the hole at the bottom. Grey got the top one because it's bigger and I get the smaller one. Bardolphs is about my size.

"Ok, I'm gonna get Bardolph to dig a hole to put our water and stuff in. It'll be right next to him so it shouldn't get taken."

Grey shook his head as I started to get Bardolph to dig.

He was about halfway. Room for one backpack.

"Come on Barrie... You gotta hurry. Those guards may try to follow us."

Ugh! I threw my backpack in the hole next to Bardolph.

"Ok... Lupa... I need some sleep... My feet are on FI-YA."

"What?"

"Fire?"

God he's stupid sometimes. But I love it. God! Snap out of it!

"Ok, I'm getting in my tree. Then in the morning, we get food." I said.

"Got it." Grey said.
