When i saw him

I walked into the gym laughing about something stupid with my friends since they also had gym that period too. When I got in there I saw him. My cheeks burned, my stomach felt light, and I couldn't think right. I didn't know why I mean I've seen him before, I've talked to him before. It was that he dyed some of his dreads blonde over winter break and I just couldn't stop staring at him. When he talked I couldn't help my self from giggling a little because he had a deep cute voice I just couldn't resist. After a week of staring at him creepy I finally told my best friend,karma, who is also in that class that I like him, and being that great friend she is is, she pushed me to him to talk to him. I fell into his arms since karma pushed me so hard and he catches me, I could feel my cheeks turn bright red. He helps me get up, "he laughs* are you okay" yes I say embarrassed "but anyways, hey thanks for catching me" I say laughing. "Hey what's up no problem if you ever need someone to catch you I'm your guy", he says. I kinda cringe when he says that but he's so fine I don't care how cringy that man is. "Well im jalen but people just call me Jay". "Oh yeah I know, wait not in a creepy way, I'm actually just going to stop talking now but my name is Madison." "I know he says chuckling, hey you seem really cool we should hang out soon, I have your snap right?" "Oh yea we should and yeah you do" I was definitely acting super cool but I was freaking out in the inside. But I let him get back to playing basketball and I went back to my friends. Actually freaking out I told them everything and by the time I was done the story the bell rang. On the way out of the gym Jay said to me "I'll text you later madi" tingles went down my body as I heard him say Madi I usually only let my family call me Madi but when he said it, it just sounded and felt right.
