Roland looked at Marilyn and said with a charming smile, "Lynn, we will go back tomorrow. A director wants Arturo to play a child's role. I have to take Arturo back to Goldmere for the audition tomorrow. The filming will be over before Arturo starts school."

"Arturo, don't tire yourself. Listen to Grandma when you go back. I will be back in a month." Marilyn looked at Arturo with care.

Arturo looked at Marilyn with his large, clear eyes. He said with his tender and pleasant voice, "Mom, don't worry. You can just focus on your work. The three of us will listen to Grandma."

Marilyn nodded with relief.

Raising her eyebrows, Jeannie looked at Marilyn with dissatisfaction as if she hadn't been valued. "Lynn, you don't have to worry. I'll be with the three kids. I will take good care of them. Don't worry, just focus on your work. The Chambers Enterprise has had a bad business in recent years. They are underselling their shares. I will also buy some to help you."

Roland, who had been neglected for quite a while, said in dissatisfaction, "Lynn, don't forget that I will also keep an eye on the shares of the Chambers Enterprise. I will buy them whenever I have the chance."

Marilyn looked gratefully at Jeannie and Roland.

She owed them most.

"Roland, thank you!" Marilyn looked at Roland gratefully.

"Aren't we family? You don't have to thank me. Otherwise, we look unfamiliar to each other! Let's go! I'll send you back to the apartment."

Roland volunteered to be Marilyn's protector. He had protected her for seven years.

Jeannie also said, "Then I'll take Arturo to the hotel first. The flight takes off tomorrow morning. Lynn, you don't have to come over to see us off."

"Okay! Thanks!" Marilyn squatted down and kissed Arturo on the forehead. She was extremely reluctant to be apart from him.

"Goodbye, mom!" Arturo was also unwilling to part with Marilyn. But Marilyn would not be at ease if she didn't work.

"Goodbye!" Marilyn waved at Arturo and Jeannie.

She left with Roland.

The company had prepared an apartment for Marilyn, which was in the Mauve Heights behind the company's building.

Roland sent Marilyn downstairs. He smiled and turned to leave after he saw that the lights in Marilyn's apartment were on.

Marilyn was going to be here for a month. There was also a branch of the Harrison Group here.

He would stay here on business for a month!

He turned back to look at the window on the fifth floor. There was a shadow of a beautiful figure on the window. He turned to leave with a smile.

Marilyn lived on the fifth floor.

The apartment was not big, but it was spacious for her to live alone. She drew the beige curtains slightly.

The seat next to the window was wide and bright. Sitting on the sofa, Marilyn could enjoy the scenery of Fielddell. The whole room was illuminated by the neon light shining through the floor-to-ceiling window.

Standing in front of the window with her hands crossed over her chest, Marilyn looked at the familiar city. Seven years passed.

She couldn't help recalling what had happened that night. An indescribable sharp pain instantly engulfed her entire body.

That night seven years ago was like a nightmare that would never disappear. Scenes clearly appeared in her mind.

It was said that time was a good remedy for pain.

But the pain was still fresh in her heart after seven years.

Every time she felt pain, she found that the pain and the unbearable suffering of that night had already merged into her.

She hoped that she could find her birth parents here.

As a mother, she knew how precious the child was to his mother. Were her parents also looking for her?
