Prologue ~ Lukas
I walked into my room and slammed my door with a loud 'bang'. My hands went to my hair and I nervously pulled the blonde strands. Oh God, oh God, oh God. This couldn't be happening.
I knew this day would come, but why now? Why? My heart raced as I considered my options. Could I just ignore it? Or maybe pretend it never happened? No, I couldn't, could I?
"Ahh!" I said, letting out a frustrated yell. Why couldn't I just forget it? Stupid question, because I didn't want to. It made my head hurt, the feelings of fear and excitement mixing together. But it also made my heart sing. To be honest, I couldn't decide whether I was more happy or frightened.
My head snapped in the direction of my calendar. The first. I had until the sixth. Then, he'd be here. Right. In. The. Next. Room.
Anxiety was eating me and I say down in my bed. I focused on calming down and my brain went numb. I was exhausted and needed rest. Hell, in probably needed to hibernate. My eyes fell closed and I shut down.
