Chapter 14

(A/N Hey loves! Here's a longer chapter, than most of the last ones.)

Ari POV:

"Why aren't they back yet? Ugh, now I'll have to walk Muchu by myself." I say to myself, as I look down at the little black and white cat staring up at me from under the bed.

I walk out of the dorm room, concealing Muchu and his leash under my jacket, so our dorm mistress wouldn't catch me. It was against policy to bring any form of animal into the school, much less the girl's dorm. I looked across the hallway to see a werewolf girl, Mattie, shaking her fur. "Why do they let her in, but not animals?" I thought to myself.

Muchu cuddled against my jacket, purring softly. "Shh, it's alright. Parker will walk you when she gets back. You will have to deal with me for now."

I escape the dorm, and head out to the park. It isn't very busy usually, but it is right next to a strip mall that is, so we will have to be careful.

I take Muchu out from under my jacket, and put his sparkly blue cat leash on his collar. (Don't ask, he picked it out himself.) Muchu is well behaved, but acts like a puppy sometimes. He will chase after squirrels the first chance he will get. Which he won't, because I have the leash on.

Muchu starts to drag me towards the strip mall, instead of the safe area in the park we always go to. "What is it Muchu?" I look at him, still being dragged. "Do you see a squirrel?"

He drags me to the road between the park and the mall. He purrs and starts to drag me across the street. I stop, and he yanks the leash out of my hand, and runs across the street. "Muchu!" I scream. I sigh of relief, seeing him cross safely across to the other side.

I look both ways, and cross the street, picking Muchu up. "You naughty kitty." I tell him. I look where we are.

"Chinese?" I look through the window. I open the door. "Drew?"

"Ari?" He looks at me. "What are you doing here?"

I hold up Muchu as he purrs, trying to escape my grasp. "What are you doing here? Where are Parker and Crystal?" I ask him.

"I don't know.. They said they had to use the bathroom, and went across the street to find a bathroom. They haven't come back since." Drew replies, looking worried.

I hand Drew Muchu. "Hold him. I will fix this. Stay here." I get up and leave the restaurant, ignoring any further remarks I look around the strip mall, and see an alleyway.

"No. That's the way to. That place..." I shiver, thinking of my previous experience.

"I have to save them, and I will."

I walk in the alleyway, and open the trapdoor behind the dumpster.

I take a deep breath and walk in. I crouch behind some boxes. I hear whimpering, and look up. about 15 cages are hanging from the ceiling. I see Parker and Crystal. Their bodies were bruised and beaten. I try to stand up, but hear voices and crouch back down.

"..and sell them to the same buyer as last time?" One of the deep voices said.

"No, let's sell them to the main branch." Another said.

"Enough!" An authoritative voice called. "We are going to sell them to the main branch. That's Kain.. That bastard is at it again.

"Either way, I'm going to have a little fun." The first guy said.

I hear one of the cages rattling. One of the men in over by a cage. I see the girl inside glaring at him. That's Crystal!

"So pretty lady." He says, holding her chin. "What's your story. Feel free to tell me anytime."

I grind my teeth as his hand sneaks up her skirt. I was about to do something when I hear another girl yelling. Parker.. The second guy was pulling on her shirt, revealing some places.

I've had enough. I stand up, announcing my presence. "I see you're at it again."

The men's heads snapped to look back at me. Parker and Crystal look surprised and relieved to see me.

"I-It's You.." Kain says, shaking.

"I would think that you would've learned from the last time. Guess i'll have to fix that." I slam my fist into my palm, and crack my neck.

"A-Ari?" Parker creaked out.

I smile my genuine smile at her. "It's going to be ok now."

I jump down from the top of my box, and start walking towards Kain.

Kain shakes. "I didn't know you were friends with these girls! Honest!"

"Too late." I open my mouth, and sound waves emit from it.

Kain and his men fall to the ground, motionless.

I run up to the cages Parker and Crystal were in, and pick the cage locks. They are so weak, they fall on my shoulders. I create a wind cloud, and put them on. I teleport back to the dorm room me and Parker share using my Vampire powers.

I rest Parker on her bed, and Crystal on mine. They are past out. I need to report back to the principal about this.

I teleport into the office. "Mr. Grande."

"Ari! Don't scare me like that."

"I have something important to tell you, about the breeding factory."

"What happened?!"

"Crystal and Parker were attacked. I took care of them though."

"Couldn't they have used their powers?"

"They were in power blocked cages."

"Oh. I see. I will take care of it. Thank you for telling me."

I bow, and walk back to my dorm room.

I walk in, and see Parker holding Muchu.

"Muchu?"

I look to the corner, and see Drew holding Crystal's hands.

I nod at Parker. "I'll see your guys at lunch. Get some rest please."

I walk out of the room, and lean against the door.

I hate lying to them like this..
