Friday
I woke up at exactly 4 am not knowing why, but I shrug it off and head to the bathroom to get ready. After putting on my outfit for work I went to the kitchen and had breakfast before leaving my apartment and leaving for work. At work I met my best friend and office partner, Leyla.
Leyla: Hey Sab.
Sabrina: Hi Le, How are you?
Leyla: Great.
Sabrina: Really?
Leyla: I just got this promotion at my other job and now I've gotten a new place actually I own It.
Sabrina: Wow!
Leyla: And get this my boyfriend Proposed to me.
Sabrina: That's amazing news.
Leyla: I know. How about you?
Sabrina: Well I still live in my cramped up apartment, I'm still waiting for my pay and my boyfriend just broke up with me last week over text.
Leyla: That's sad. You know what You're gonna leave that apartment and quit your job.
Sabrina: Why would I do that?
Leyla: Cause you're going to come live with me.
Sabrina: I can't do that.
Leyla: You can we have so much room and I don't think Jake would mind.
Sabrina: Even if I did I wouldn't have any money to pay rent cause you suggest I quit my job.
Leyla: Don't worry I've got that covered. The other place I work at pays nicely and they're hiring.
Sabrina: I'm still not sure.
Leyla: Think about, I give you the whole weekend to do so.
Sabrina: Sure, Thanks.
Leyla: No problem, That's what best friends are for.
Saturday
In her apartment
Sabrina: You know what I've thought about and I don't see anything wrong with it so I guess I'll tell Leyla about my decision.
On the phone
Sabrina: hey Le i finally thought about it and I'm taking up your offer.
Leyla: Great. Get Your bags ready because I'm going to come get you later this afternoon.
Sabrina: This afternoon?
Leyla: Yes, just get the essentials and I'll I help you with the rest tomorrow.
Sabrina: KK, bye.
Leyla: Bye.
Two weeks later
Leyla: Oh no I forgot to get the milk.
Sabrina: Don't worry I'll go get it.
Leyla: Nah It's fine I'll go plus I still need get a few extra steps in.
Sabrina: Sure.
Leyla: Cool, Jake will be back in about 5 minutes, just tell him I'll be back soon.
Sabrina: Ok.
Leyla: Be back soon.
Sabrina: Bye.
Jake: Leyla I'm back.
Sabrina: Leyla isn't here, she'll be back in a few.
Jake: Really? *Moves closer to her*
Sabrina: Jake what are you doing?
Jake: Nothing.
Sabrina: Jake did you drink?
Sabrina: Maybe.
Sabrina: And did you drive home?
Jake: Yes. *Tries to kiss her*
Sabrina: Jake no, don't Leyla is going to get mad.
Jake: She doesn't have to find out.
Sabrina: Jake, no please I...
Leyla: I'm ba... what is going on?
Sabrina: Leyla It's not what you think.
Leyla: It's not. If It's not, then why do I see you with him.
Sabrina: Leyla, look he pushed himself on me.
Leyla: Yeah, right.

Leyla: Out Now. *Goes upstairs, get's Sabrina's stuff and throw them outside*.

And That's how my life went from having a job and shelter and clothes and a loving best friend To being unemployed, having no shelter or clothes or even food and having an enemy who loved me, all because of a decision I thought would help me out, Had I Known.
