Lisa squinted her eyes as soon as the first rays of light hit her face through her bedroom window, waking her from her restless night's sleep. Last night had been disastrous. She was supposed to have charmed the pants off the older Kim woman with the customary meeting the parents routine, but she had failed miserably, albeit with flare. The added bonus that Jennie's basically ex had been there just sent a curve ball Lisa's way. God, what had she been thinking that last night would have been fine? She should have taken Jennie's cue and been a nervous wreck. That should have been her biggest indicator of what was lying ahead.

She cracked her eyes open, staring up at the ceiling that held a collage of water damage and questionable stains. It wasn't long before Jennie murmured in her sleep and wrapped her arms around Lisa's waist, all but laying directly on the blonde. Lisa's lips tilted upward at the motion briefly as she brought her hand up to Jennie's head to thread her fingers through the brunette locks. Jennie's apple shampoo wafted up to Lisa, playing with the blonde's senses as she tugged Jennie closer into her, snuggling her tighter just a little bit more than usual.

Maybe Lisa was just overreacting. Hyun-joo was an intimidating woman, and her words were striking, but they couldn't hold up. Not when Jennie was here now, curled up beside her and had been for the past three nights.

Her thoughts were interrupted as soon as Jennie stirred, her body stiffening to stretch out her legs as she murmured a groan. Lisa grinned down at her as soon as Jennie lifted her head to meet Lisa's eyes.

"Morning," Lisa greeted with a peck to the brunette's nose. "I don't remember signing up to be your bed." Her eyes motioned downward as they looked to see Jennie sprawled on top of Lisa.

The brunette shrugged playfully. "Perhaps if you got a new mattress that didn't prick me with every spring I wouldn't have to."

Lisa squinted at Jennie's statement feeling herself blush unwillingly before pushing it back to her mind. Instead she smiled at Jennie who didn't notice Lisa's momentary lapse of silence as they slid out of bed. Lisa couldn't help but notice Jennie twist her torso getting out all the kinks before stretching out her arms.

"See something you like?" Jennie toyed.

Lisa, once again pushed out of her reveries, smirked and crossed her arms casually. "Nothing special."

"I highly doubt that." Jennie shed her sleeping shirt, one of Lisa's band shirts she had claimed as her own ever since she had first babysat Wo Jin, before rifling through Lisa's closet where she had left a blouse hanging on the rack.

Lisa chuckled to herself. "Coffee?"

"Yes, please," Jennie said, fluffing out her hair in Lisa's free standing mirror.

Lisa left the room, turning immediately to bang on Wo Jin's door. "Wake up, Wo Jin!" Her only response came in the form of an exaggerated groan before she knocked on it once more for good measure.

She found jogging shorts draped over the back of her couch and slipped them on over her bare legs then walked over to the counter to fill up the kettle and plug it in. While she waited for the water to heat, she brought down two mugs and opened the cabinet door to retrieve the instant coffee, scooping a spoonful into each mug. She heard her bedroom door open and saw Jennie slip out dressed impeccably for a woman who was wearing designer jeans before she crossed the hall and headed into the bathroom. By the time each mug held a steaming cup of coffee and Wo Jin was groggily seated at the table rubbing sleep from his eyes as Lisa placed a bowl of Fruit Loops in front of him, Jennie exited looking as if she hadn't even spent the night or even met sleep. How the brunette managed to look the way she did with little to no make up was a feat Lisa desperately needed to learn. Lisa offered her the cup of black coffee as she passed before sitting at the table next to Wo Jin, Jennie on his other side.
