"How did you get a place like this? I thought that it was impossible for a powered to get this good of a life." At Heather's rather blunt wording, Jordan scoffed quietly as she shook her head.

"I owe everything to Victoria and Griff, they helped me get out of the Pyske runners life. I am free, for the most part." Jordan said as she was sliding a mug of coffee across the table and over to Victoria, who caught it as she was able to stop the liquid from splashing everywhere. "For as long as her power has been pulling people into the Pyske life, Victoria has been trying her damned best to get people out of it." Jordan explained.

"And now, she runs my payroll for me and has a happy life outside of the big stuff." At the words of Victoria, Jordan was nodding quickly.

"So. What are you two?" Jordan asked and the two new team members looked at each other, before they looked at her in confusion. "What class are you? What powers do you have? Why do you think Victoria chose you?"

"Because she had no other option. You and your partner left, her baby daddy seems to have effectively disappeared and it left her with a pissed off twenty year old and we were the only two adults in the room, that were willing to help."

Jordan looked like she regretted asking as she turned to look at Victoria, who stared at her coffee cup, finding it suddenly very interesting.

"Connor would never abandon us without a good reason, like going to jail for five fucking years in order to keep us out of it." Jordan remarked harshly. "Or, if he felt like he had given his all and that he had nothing left to give. Don't pretend to know what people's thoughts are about, if you have never met the guy." She said and Victoria smiled faintly at the words. "Now, you two. Get the hell out of my apartment." Jordan said and the two looked at Victoria, who nodded and they were both leaving.

Jordan used her power to slam the door behind them and she locked the door with a snap of her fingers. "I didn't know what they were going to say." Victoria murmured and Jordan reached out a hand to her, before she was gripping it. "Connor didn't want to go back to the house and I don't blame him for that." She admitted.

"Connor spent a whole lot more time there than any of us, except for Griff. I remember that you refused to give up on him, even when he had a fucking loaded gun pointed at Nia and you." Jordan said and Victoria nodded.

"I wasn't going to let him destroy his life or himself, if there was even a chance that I got an opportunity to convince him to stop her." Victoria shook her head. "I promise people free will and choices if they join up with me... Would you say, that I have lived up to that?" Victoria asked softly and Jordan chuckled, before she was giving her a hug.

"That and more." Jordan said and Victoria smiled slightly wider, and then she felt tears in her eyes and Jordan hugged her, even that much tighter. "If you called me for any reason, I would come back without a second thought. I promise." Jordan whispered.

"Class Five Brawn and Class Three Aero." The confusion was clear and Victoria was shaking her head. "Linden and Heather. You wanted to know what class and also, what their powers were." Victoria pointed out.

"I have really missed living with the rest of you." Jordan admitted and Victoria looked at her.

"You can always come back, Jordan. That house is off-limits to everybody except for me and my kids. Maybe Griff will go in every once and a while to clean something up, but it is definitely yours if ever you wanted it back." A hesitant smile was on Jordan's face. "I would never, ever leave you with nowhere to live. I promise." She said and Jordan hugged her again. "Jordan? Ow, I can't breathe!" Jordan finally let her go and Victoria chuckled breathlessly.

"Sorry." Jordan murmured and Victoria shrugged, before she was resting her head on her friend's shoulder. "I miss Tommy and everybody else. Tori, why the hell does it always have to be our people that die?" She asked quietly and Victoria was shaking her head.

"I don't know, Jordan." Victoria whispered quietly and she was swiftly just shaking her head. "I honestly don't know." She admitted softly and then, the two of them were sitting together in silence on the couch, thinking about everything that had happened to the two of them and to their families in the past five years.

Finally when Victoria was done, she disappeared into a splash of water to Jordan's laughter and she reappeared somewhere, that she didn't recognize.

Victoria was silently looking around the apartment, wondering where her powers had spat her out. "Hey." Victoria jumped as she turned around to see that Connor was standing in the doorway behind her, that she hadn't noticed before. "How did you know where to find me?" He asked and she was shaking her head.

"I don't know." She admitted and Connor nodded slightly. "I guess my subconscious thought for me, because I have never been here before in my life." Victoria admitted.

"Tommy showed up here earlier like you have done, he said the same thing." Connor said and she nodded.

"Well, I should probably get going." Victoria said awkwardly and she was turning around, before she walked right into a wall.

"That looked like it hurt." Connor said.

"Don't patronize me." Victoria muttered as she was rubbing her forehead. "Door?" She asked and Connor pointed over at the door as she nodded. "I won't stop the kids from coming, but it would be a lot easier for them if you came to us." She said and she silently walked out of the door. "Especially, since Garrett doesn't know about them." Victoria said and she shut the door behind her.

Victoria felt pain flashing through her and she lowered her head, shutting her eyes as she felt tears spilling over. Victoria disappeared in a wave of water as she felt the familiar spinning sensation, before she felt something going wrong.

Victoria landed in front of the house and immediately, she heard both the sounds of screaming and gunshots.
