She lived in hell as a hell-born (ring of lust and moved to the pride ring) then trained hard to earn her place as a Gate Guard along with Heaven's door. This would mean she can't get arrested or attacked by angels from a contract under Lucifer Morningstar. One day she was down on Earth disguised as a human and met Sage. She couldn't read her, she seemed so nice yet, her soul gave her hints of a pure devil. She stayed with her eventually falling in love and staying on earth, she's welcome in Hell when she wants, the contract is still in place, just less strong and can get attacked by higher/noble angels
