We were just sitting like that, with me on his lap.

Eventually I looked at the clock though.

Its two in the morning...

Whatever.

...

I couldn't help but bury myself in his arms. The high was wearing off, but I was still very enthusiastic to lay with him.

"I bet it's beautiful out tonight. It was very warm earlier." He spoke softly

I perked up from my sleepy daze and smiled. "Oh yeah?"

He gazed into my eyes with that wide stare.

"Do you want to go outside?"

I was grinning at this point.

"Uh yeah!"

He patted my side, implying I should get up. I stood and he grabbed a blanket off of his bed.

I went over to grab some shoes off the floor by my bed, and we snuck out the house.

...

We exited out the back door, and I stopped at the porch. But he continued to walk. "Where are we headed?" I asked quietly

He just took my hand, and led me along through the forest.

the moon was almost full, so it was quite bright. We followed a path leading seemingly into nowhere.

His hand was soft against mine, and he looked amazing. His eyes especially. They looked like pools of silver.

...

He looked back at me and stopped.

In front of us was a tree house! It was quite large and it had a view overlooking a pond.

The pond was sparkling under the starry night sky. It's wide expanse standing undisturbed.

...

He started up the tree house's ladder, still holding the blanket.

I followed close behind.

...

He fumbled around with something, then suddenly there were lights. Well, specifically string lights. They lit up the room, and the interior was very cool. There was a big, round rug in the center, book shelves with many nic-nacs and books, a big bean bag, and a hand-made looking tapestry hung on the ceiling.

It was amazing.

"How did you find this place?" I asked in full wonderment.

He sat down on the bean bag, and waved me over.

Once I sat down, he began his hushed story.

"This used to be Randal's play-house when he was younger. He abandoned it and when I found out, I took it as my own. It was quite run-down but I fixed it up. It's always been my place to come to when I need a break, and I wanted to show it to you."

I smiled and I squeezed him in a hug.

"Thank you."

I felt tears in my eyes.

I was just so happy.

Happy that I get to hang out in a dope ass tree house.

Happy that I get to show someone love and have it reciprocated.

Happy that I get to be with the person I love and care about most in the entire world.

He wiped my tears, and pulled me into another hug.
