Disappear: A Mikaze Ai Fanfic

Ch. 16:

I spent about 5 days looking for Ai.
I could already tell that the world was falling apart without music.
"Ai..." I whispered sadly.
I turned another corner hoping to find him.
I looked around at the unfamiliar faces, trying to find the only one that meant something to my heart.
I bustled down another street.
"Ai!" I called, feeling that hurting in my body. I wasn't the only one. Most of the people on the street were pulsing too.
I turned into an alley and and braced myself against the wall. "Ai... Please..." I whispered.
Five minutes of pulsing.
That was the longest I've ever pulsed.
"Good bye world." I whispered. "Even though I tried to save you... I couldn't. I betrayed you. I betrayed the one I loved... I... I can't even do a single thing..."
I gasped and pushed my back against the wall, holding my chest.
"Itai..." I whispered. "Ai...."
Suddenly, I was seized by my arms and pulled up.
Ai looked down at me with hurt eyes. I was till pulsing. He wasn't suppose to be near me.
"First, you suddenly collapse and beg me to sing." He hissed. "Then you avoid me. After that you moved in with me and made me fall for you. Suddenly, you confess to me and make me believe that you loved me... When you just wanted me to save your world. YOU USED ME!"
I felt tears running down my almost nonexistent face. "You're wrong... I never use you-" I gasped as I felt a sharp pain in my chest. Instinctively, I grabbed onto Ai's shoulders. "Onegai, Ai..." I gasped. "Save me."
"So I can be used again?" He whispered.
I buried my face into his chest groaning in pain. "Ai... Aishiteru. Aishitemasu. How can you... Doubt me?"
"I don't know anymore." He whispered.
"Please... Save me... I'm almost gone..." I looked like a ghost I was barely there. "Ai..."

*Third POV*

Ai looked down at her. Will he be betrayed again? Walking into Reika being kissed by someone else just hurt him. And then she defended him by saying that he saved her.
Now she was saying she loved him again.
It messed with his brain.
He shook his head. Reika was beautiful and strong. She was passionate. She was everything he wanted.
Would he really let such a small thing get in between them? Would he really let her disappear forever?
He took a deep breath and sang Gozen Niji no Angel. (Cause idk where to find lyrics and the song is only on SoundCloud).

*Reika's POV*

I sobbed into Ai's chest as he finished. I wasn't gone.
"Gomen. Gomen. Gomen." I muttered over and over. "Noaki-san was just a figment of my imagination. I had no idea! He was a friend! He guided me to you! I- Mmhh."
"Hush." He whispered, kissing me.
"Ai..." I whispered.
"Aishitemasu." He whispered. "And I won't let anything get between us. I'm sorry I doubted you... I was just mad. And I'm sorry I put you through all that pain."
My eyes widened. "Ai! You're not supposed to touch me during a pulse and a few minutes after a pulse!"
He shrugged. "There's nothing you can do to stop me from touching you."
I blushed.
"I will never let you disappear." He whispered.
