Tips and tricks for beginners

So art,

Most people love art, it's either making it or seeing it.

But art takes time and dedication, patience and effort.

Now I don't have time to make a whole advanced art piece, I can but I won't, why? Because I don't have much time.

Now the thing is, not every drawing comes out perfect. and this is a problem for most

The hardest part I find about drawing is hair.
Hair is a common thing in art and a lot of people find it easy to draw it but I don't.
Many beginners also face the same problem

Beginners face a lo of problems with art.

So I'm here to explain this the best I can.

Intro/what's gonna be mentioned

Hello there so I hear your a beginning leaning for
more advanced pieces of art? Well I've got the solution for you.

So hi I'm Starvinxy also known as Zia, I am a medium style artist as I just got out of the beginners zone.

And as a mudiem style artist im not that advanced which is actually not a bad thing because when I do this tutorial it will be easier to understand.

But let's skip all the blah blah and get straight to business.

The steps and progress.

This tutorial will be presented in my art

So first thing we are gonna do isssss... Hair yea just hair.
I know most  artists will want hands first but the truth is I can't really draw hand either so let's save that for another time heh.

So hair is not that hard, oh wait I can't draw hair properly....

Well no need to fear!

Welcome to a STAR-TUTORIAL...bad pun but let's goiooooo

Step one: outline

So when drawing hair this very important to draw the out line first before detailing. This is a mistake artists do make when drawing hair.

Kinda like this. (She is not naked this is an unfinished drawing)  draw the outline how ever you want.

You should do the outline on one layer and then once you're finished outlining add another layer and draw over it to clean it up (this outline I made is already cleaned up) you might want to outline with a small brush

Step two: details.

Now that you finished that
, start adding details these can include: colorizing, texture, accessories etc. 

Add details on a different layer

On IBIS paint press the plus button to add layers.
As you can see my outline is on layer one. Add another layer for coloring the hair. And then add another layer for adding any accessories you want.

Then you can add like extra strips of hair or highlights.

Like this

Lastly you can add another layer for your base and color it. If you want.
