~Sebastian~

" Sebastian," I hear footsteps approaching me from behind, and I instantly know who it is.
" Nyah," I respond, I turn around to see her approaching me quickly, I'm dying to get in the car, I've had enough of her.
" Want some company tonight?" She asks innocently, wrapping her arms around my waist.
I put my arm around her waist. Hugging her back. You may be questioning me right now but she is all I have. The only person that has shown me love. But she's not the one. I'm still waiting.
"Not tonight Nyah," I respond. "I've got a late night meeting, maybe another time."
"Sure," she answered bluntly, I could hear the disappointment in her voice.
I smile, " goodnight." I remove my arm.
"Goodnight Seb," she responds moving away from me. I watch her as she walks off, heading to her car.
I sigh, peace at last.

I get into my car, starting the engine up immediately. I select a playlist and hit shuffle, I've got a thirty minute drive to my meeting, so I make my way to McDonalds to get something for dinner. I finished work later than expected so this is very necessary.

I arrived at the meeting quarter of an hour early. The meeting was being held at a small independent coffee shop. I walk into the coffee shop, the over-powering smell of coffee beans instantly hits me. I glance around. The coffee shop is quiet, as expected considering it's an hour until closing.
I catch a man giving me a small wave. I smile before walking over.
"Good evening," the man says as I approach him, he holds his hand out to me.
I take it, shaking it gently, "good evening, pleasure to meet you, Sebastian," I say.
"George," the man replies.
I smile, taking a seat. "So let's chat."
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you Sebastian, our company is slowly starting to develop and by working with a man like you who is so well known in the industry I can imagine our sales will sky rocket!" George says enthusiastically. It's nice to meet a man who is passionate about his work.
"I like your passion George, it shows a lot about you as a person. I'd be honoured to sell your alcohol at my club, I feel like it would sell really well and your work would definitely pay off!" I reply.
That's one thing I haven't mentioned, I own one of New York's most well-known night club's with another two opening soon, one in Las Vegas and another in San Francisco. I never expected business to run so smoothly. With constant job applications being sent in and clients sending in contracts from anything from food and drinks, to DJ's requesting to play and boost their popularity.
George smiles at me gratefully, " that means more than you know, I'm looking forward to working with you and visiting you new clubs."
We continue to chat and have a laugh, before signing contracts.
We say our goodbye's and plan our next meet-up.

I head towards my car, smiling after a successful day. I feel relieved. One more day left, then it's the weekend. Finally. I get into my car, before starting it, and once again shuffling my playlist. I set off, to my house I go.
I live in a somewhat expensive area of New York. With a three bedroom detached house, big garden, kitchen, diner and living altogether. A big garden and a pool. The house can be lonely.

Well it's not that lonely. I have Rolo, my three-year-old German Shepherd. He's the best. Yes, he may sleep, eat, and go to the toilet and go on walks all day, every day. But he keeps me from having that lonely feeling.

I arrive home and pull into my drive, instantly hearing the barks of Rolo, I laugh to myself. I just manage to open the door, before being jumped at, having my hands aggressively licked and being covered in fur.
See what I mean. What human would greet you like this?
I begin to laugh, I just about shimmy through the door and manage to close it before and drop my bags to the floor and bend down to stroke him.
I spend the next few minutes with him, greeting him and apologising for being at work. He seems to understand. I manage to pull myself away from him and get into the kitchen. He follows me like a shadow as I head to his bowls. He knows what time it is. His tail wagging aggressively. I go over to the cupboard where his food bag is. Scooping his food into his bowl, I walk over to his spot, to put his bowls down, he's sat there waiting impatiently.
I quickly fill up his water bowl, then shortly after I put down his bowls.
He doesn't wait a second, instantly gobbling up his food.

I wake up early the next morning. Not much had happened after getting home and feeding Rolo. Life always seems to be boring after the day is over.

Today, however, is a busy day. I'm flying out to San Francisco to open up my second nightclub. I'll be flying back home on Sunday. I get out of bed, pulling out a small suitcase from my walk-in-wardrobe. I choose out a black suit to wear to the nightclub, and two casual outfits. One being a beige pair of trousers and a white polo shirt, the next being a pair of denim blue jeans and a basic black t-shirt. I then choose out some shoes for my outfits. I choose out the basic toilettries and some aftershave.

Within an hour I'm packed and ready for my flight. My flight is at ten, its currently seven thirty. I quickly feed Rolo, and give him some love before heading out of the door. I get in touch with my dog sitter, to let her know I've left, she has a spare key as she's a regular at my house. Within minutes she's responded. I climb into my car, I receive a ping on my phone, it's Jack, my assistant. Yes, I have one of those. I certainly don't treat him like one, he's been one of my best friends for YEARS.

"Hey Boss, where are you?" Jack says.

"On my way, will be there in thirty," I respond, setting up the navigation on my car.

"Great, I'll be waiting for you at the entrance," he adds.

I respond with a thumbs up, dad-like, I know.

Within thirty minutes, I'm at the airport, pulling my car into the car park, I grab my suitcase, and head to the entrance, where I see Jack waiting for me. He greets me with a smile and we make our way to check-in.
