Y/N's POV

Today. The first day of school after summer holiday. The holiday went like just me-eh for me. The whole holiday was went by bickering, arguing, quarrelling with my brother.

Yes! I do love my brother but sometimes i just wanna yk :). It was fun tho. I love teasing my brother.

The holidays are over. Shit. I don't like to go to school. I'm not a morning person. So i hate to wake up and ready for school blah blah blah.

Finally after getting ready for the school, i left my room to eat breakfast. Before going down i went to check on my brother.

Mandatory honey. I smirked.

I opened his door and peeked at him.
As he finished fixing his hair and tie in the mirror, a mischievous grin spread across my face. I waited eagerly, ready to pounce and give him a good scare as soon as he opened the door. The anticipation of his reaction added an exciting twist.

First i took two-three steps and i yelled "yu-jun! Mom called us down for breakfast!". "I'm coming y/n!!" He retorted.

Then i came closer to his door waiting for to open. I counted to 1-2-3. When i counted three the door was swung open and i jumped at him like in the most scariest way. "Arggghhh!!" I screamed infront of his face. But-

He was not surprised at all. In fact, he had this mischievous glint in his eyes, like he knew all along that I was up to something. It was like he was playing along with my little game.

"Seriously? You gotta be kidding me lol! How can you be so silly? It doesn't even scared me a bit lmao"

I slumped my shoulders, letting out a dramatic sigh of defeat. The disappointment on my face was unmistakable. Yu-jun saw it.

He sighed. "C'mon you want me to act like i'm scared?". " No thanks brothaa" i said sticking out my tongue at him.

He chuckled at my reaction.

The suddenly i got an idea. "Oppaurrr can you close your eyes for a sec? I have to give you something!" I said it in the most cringiest way. Ew.

He rolled his eyes and closed his eyes. "What was that??" He asked me while his eyes are kept closed. "Wait" that's all i said.

I sneakily went behind him and gave him a hard slap on his butt. Lmao the sound. I didn't waste a single second i quickly ran to downstairs while shouting "That's the thing yu-juniee!!!" I was laughing. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

"MOM!!!" he bellowed in a mix of shock and amusement, his voice echoing through the house. I could hear his footsteps thundering down the stairs as he chased after me, probably plotting his revenge.

I dashed into the living room, trying to catch my breath from all the laughter and adrenaline. Suddenly, I heard his thundering steps closing in on me. "You're in for it now!" he shouted.

"Enough! ENOUGH!!" our mom shouted at us. "Stop bickering like toddlers! Aren't you guys are going to high school now?" She retorted.

I and yu-jun stopped running after hearing her words. "Come here you both!" She called us. She rested her hands on her waist. Like every mom do.

"Mom! She is the one started it!" Yu-jun frustratedly told her. My mom gave me a look of seriously? I kept my head down facing the floor.

"Say sorry y/n" she told me to apologize to him. I did. What else?.
If i didn't then that is it.

"Sorry yu-jun" i exclaimed. He nodded his head in agreement. "Now hug" she just simply told us.

I was like ugh. I do love him but yk sometimes i just wanna-. "Aishh" i groaned. He then opened his arms for me. Waiting for me to give a hug.

I hugged Yu-jun, the warm embrace plus a feeling of safety in his arms. He squeezed me a little. I winced in pain. "Mom!"

"Yu-jun let go of her!! Now come eat both of you!" My mom was in awe looking at her kids hugging.

I then playfully ruffled his hair, teasing him about his mirror time. "Getting all fancy for a date, huh?" I joked, knowing he was probably just prepping for first day of school.

Yu-jun shot me a mock glare, but I could see a hint of a smile playing on his lips. Sibling banter at its finest!

Then we both ate our breakfast. Nope. Not peacefully. Of course arguing.
Then we both said bye to mom and went to school.

I was walking through the bustling school hallway. Searching for my bsf, park Danyi. My one only closest dearest friend. Just like her name she is so sweet. We are friends from kindergarden. I love her.

Haha! Gotcha. I saw her waving at me. I waved at her back. Then i ran towards her. So did she. We both embraced tightly... The warmth and comfort in it.

When we broke the hug and gave us a pretty chaotic smile. She's so cute gosh. "You're literally the most adorable thing in this world!" I praised her.

She blushed. "And you are the most precious thing in the world for me!" She retorted. Then we looked at each other for a good minute before cracking up like a crazy gawls.

"Seriously that was too cheesy, isn't?" I told her while laughing like a pig. "I know right? Lmao!" She exclaimed.

As we burst into laughter, someone accidentally collided with me. I stumbled and i fell.
