Strangers

It's funny to think that everyone started off as strangers, like that one person you see walk past you everyday but never have the courage to speak to them then as soon as you say one word you are magically no longer strangers but acquaintances.

That is what happened with Ella and her stranger, they went to high school together, had many mutual friends but still no conversation, some may find this weird, they didn't. Both shy in their own way, they accepted that knowing each other in high school was not meant to be, yes there were funny comments made between the two here and there, one about her being a 'crackhead' but nothing more, and once again they were both fine with it.

The weird thing about strangers is that they can one day out of the blue become your entire world, everything you do and think is because of them. That's what happened with Ella and Mo.

On one random Wednesday in early September Ella was 'dying of boredom' slightly dramatic but that's who she is. She noticed that one of her new found friends Izzy was out and about in the village with a group of her friends, she was always jealous of those people with friend groups larger than life and never believe that one day she would be in one.

Izzy kindly invited Ella to come out with them and she was beyond excited to meet new people but god she was nervous as she believed that some members of the group were not her biggest fan from her unkindly past. Ella went anyway to meet them, her stomach in a knot walking sheepishly towards the large intimidating group with a shy wave. Whispers and confusion fill the air as Ella walked towards them, introductions and greetings followed soon after. She quickly fit into the group making friends and making plans to get her nose pierced with one of the girls Grace and her boyfriend Owen who Ella knew from high school and primary school.

As the night continued on the cold field many of the girls including Ella were in dire need of a wee so all went in a bush and giggled helping each other out and hiding each other from the boys.

Friday had soon come around which was the day Ella had planned to get her nose pierced, after meeting Grace and Owen outside the Poundland in the sad town of Chorley they headed to the piercing parlour. The piercing was painless and they decided to go to McDonald's for a bite to eat and to plan the party Ella had decided to throw tonight.

They sat down in one of the booths making a guest list which consisted of: Caitlin (Ella's best friend), Izzy, Grace, Owen, Courtney, Johno, Neve. They were her definites, she wanted to invited Trench because she knew how much her best friend Caitlin liked him but was told that he wouldn't show his face unless his best friend Mo came, she was hesitant at first because Mo was a complete stranger, yes they went to high school together but they never spoke, she thought oh well what a way to make new friends.
