It had been seven days. Seven whole days since he'd seen Tom, Marco supposed he was busy with his duties but Tom always made time to see him, he'd never left it this long. Marco had to go down there, so he grabbed a bag and filled it with a blanket, pajamas, a toothbrush and an extra change of clothes, he'd supposed that he'd bring a spare change just in case he stayed over, though that was almost a given at this stage. Marco dug around in his closet for about 10 minutes trying to find his dimensional scissors, freaking out about the thought that he may have lost them, until he realised they'd been on his bedside table the entire time. He rolled his eyes and headed downstairs to his parents, who were in the sitting room watching a sitcom. He explained to them where he'd be going and that he didn't know when he'd be back. They were used to the crazy shenanigans since Star had arrived there so they both just agreed and gave him a hug goodbye. Marco then pulled his demensional scissors out of his pocket before cutting a hole through space and time itself and stepping through into the underworld, making sure to close the portal behind him.
He was right outside the place where Tom lived, a castle built entirely of stone, there wasn't even wood or carpet in the interior unless it was made special as so it didn't catch on fire. Marco stepped forward approaching one of the two guards at the front gate, while Marco didn't know him personally he did recognise his face."Excuse me?" Marco spoke, his tone one of authority. The guard stepped aside and motioned for the other to do the same, he didn't recognise the other, he was probably new. "Here to see Master Tom, Sir Diaz?" The guard spoke looking down to him. Marco just gave a nod and stepped through the big doors, they were made of granite, door handles engraved with rubies. He greeted some more people with polite 'good mornings' or acknowledging nods before finally arriving at the door to Tom's room, despite the fact that he'd been in Tom's room hundreds of times, knocking was still so unnerving. He knocked, three loud raps but when he didn't receive an answer he pushed then door open slowly and stepped inside. Marco was greeted by the image of Tom curled up, asleep, in a nest of plushies and blankets, dressed in a frog onesie. As he stepped closer he noticed a black pacifier is Tom's mouth, as well as the fact that Tom was tightly grasping a baby bottle, filled with milk, to his chest.
