╰┈➤ "Say [name], I see you, and Alastor seems to have..." Charlie stared off a conversation, while standing in front of you, while you sat comfortably on the sofa with a warm blanket and with your little egg boy knocked out on the lap.

you looked up, stopping rubbing the egg boy's head, that had soothed him asleep in favor of paying attention to Charlie.

"..some tension.." she said nervously, almost not knowing how to deal with the situation.

"Whatever could you mean? me and Alastor? we have no type of tension you so, speak off" you said with a fake closed-eyed smile, playing it off as if you haven't been avoiding Alastor at every giving turn.

it looked like it had been really getting to him, seeing as you could even hear the radio crackle outside your door at night, a little creepy, but hey it looks like it worked.

"y-you!" you heard a sudden yell from behind the sofa

"you...you steal my egg boi!" you turn around to see Sir Pentious pointing a finger at you

you simply placed your hand on the egg boi head that lay softly on your lap before sticking your tongue at him.

"Y-YOU! wrench!!" he screamed, your eyebrows furrowed before you placed your index finger on your lips in a shushing motion which only pissed off him more, he started to turn red

"h-hey now, let's not fight! we're here as friends, not enemies" Charlie quickly intervened, as the closer sir pentious became.

"but- but that woman, took my egg boi!" he said angrily, as he continued to point his finger.

"I did not do such a thing, he chose me," you said quietly, still trying to keep it quiet in not to wake the egg boi that was being augured about to be woken up

"as if! he loves me, he would never choose someone like you over me," he said matter-factly

"hm, is that so? we can see if he agrees—" Before you could even finish he went to wake the egg before you slapped his hand leaving a red mark

"you will not wake him, you can wait until he wakes up on his own," you said now pissed off he even tried to do that

"ow.." Sir Pentious whined, rubbing the sore spot on his hand

"Now if you just going to stand behind me the whole time, I suggest you take a sit on the sofa as Frank takes his nap," you said leaving no room for debate

sir pentious let a from words underneath his breath before doing as you said, awhile Charlie stood there in awe

she simply clapped her hands silently

"so uhh- ...when is he going to wake up..." Sir Pentious said from the other sofa

"when he decides he wants to wake up"

"oh.."

⤑ "It's been 2 hours!" Sir Pentious cried still in the same position he was in the last 2 hours

"shhhhhh, you're being too loud what if you wake him up prematurely" you whispered-yelled

"I might just do this at this rate, for crying out loud it's been 2 hours!!" he said in frustration

"and he could sleep for 4, I don't care.." you said trying to ignore your numb legs from the weight of the egg boi sleeping peacefully

suddenly the egg boi started to move around seeming like he was going to wake up

"Finally!!" Sir Pentious yelled

yet the egg boi continued to sleep, leaving a crying sir pentious

"Are you that distraught of losing one egg boi? cant you know be kind and share, isn't that what Charlie has been teaching you!" you said pointing at him

"no! I will not, he is my minion, I will not share," he said crossing his arms and looking the other way not before looking back at you to see your reaction

" fine be like that," you said doing the same thing

⤑ "god damnit it's been 5 hours, I'm done waiting you can have him for now.." Sir Pentious said with a pout as he started to storm away

"I'll let you have visitation right!" you said with a grin as you watched him walk, before sighing in contentment as you petted the egg boi

but i soon as you heard a familiar cracking noise, you were too to quick grab your egg boi and leave the lounge and go to your room

[a/n; uhh hi guys, been a bit sorry for such a long break uh my dog of 15 years passed away so I've been grieving which kinda took a lot of motivation from this story away, so I do apologize but I want to say I'm getting back into writing so I should be updating a little bit more, anyway, I hoped you liked this quick filler chapter, sorry it wasn't as long, I kinda needed a palette cleanser lol, anyways b see you guys next chapter whenever that is 😭]
