Chapter 3 S1 E4 Start Line of Legacies

Picking up where it was left off

I look over the crowd of students that are here looking for anyone who may provide a challenge to me. There are three individuals I take note of.

Thoughts: "So a completely pink girl besides from abnormal eyes, I can't tell the quirk right away. Next up is one with earphone jacks in place of earlobes, could be useful for recon and if the jacks move independently then she can easily stab out the robot eyes rendering them useless. Then we have a silver haired guy that looks like he is a good brawler type. It is best to use my shield speed to gain immediate ground like a rooftop or just use it to get into a massive group of robots then shred them apart." 

Present Mic: "Right! Let's start!"

I do not wait for him to finish speaking as I use my shield speed to dart to the front of the group and enter right as the doors open. 

Present Mic: "Get moving! There are no countdowns in real battles!"

I start to tune him out as I use three Bowie knives to tear into robots left right and center not leaving any for the others if they follow the main roadway. Five points right now and it has only been a few seconds. I take a look behind me to see the quick distance I have made and the look of surprise on the other's faces. Within a minutes time I rack up sixteen points, mostly one pointers, and three two pointers. Now that I am deep into the city I make the shields disappear and focus on using just knives to rack up points. There are ten three pointers heading my way as if drawn to the bold one willing to rush into danger. Without hesitation, I send my knives to destroy them, the knives hit their first targets racking fifteen points with blows to the robot eyes and out through the back of their heads. I hear the sound of tires rolling as a swarm of two and one pointers attempt to ambush me. 

(Y/N): "Crap, I need to get out now, or risk getting swarmed."

I summon my tachi blade into my hands as a final resort defense. I have my knives to form a circle around me in a  4.5 meter radius and start to circle around me like an oversized wheel without the wheel. I start to rush the new group of robots and the circle starts to tear through the low levels like butter. One two pointer made it through the circle and I use my tachi in a diagonal slice starting at my right shoulder. The slice cuts through the robot with ease. I look around the group I just attacked and I got thirteen more points, but with the old group of three pointers still standing. I use the knives as before to destroy them adding fifteen more points to the total. I take this chance to take a breath and make the knives and tachi disappear. 

(Y/N): "Lets see, fifty nine points if I am correct and only about four minutes in. Pretty good pace for me to kee-" 

The ground starts to explode beneath me and a giant robot reveals itself, but with me right on top of it. It starts to move around and I summon the tachi and stab it into the robot so then I have something to hold onto. It prepares to punch the ground where a lot of examines are but I summon a shield and send it to intercept the punch. The shield makes contact with the first and immediately cracks, but holds long enough to ensure students have a chance to run. A shadow forms over my head and I see the other hand coming right down for me. Not willing to be crushed by it, I make the tachi disappear sending me sliding off the edge of the robot. It attempts to grab me in the air, but I summon the tachi, again, a long with three knives to be sent into the robot in an effort to protect others over myself. An explosion happens inside the robot and I lose control to one my blades.

(Y/N): "Gotcha oversized bot."

With that, the zero pointer stops moving and I make everything I summoned disappear.  Only now I realize just how close I am to the ground. Realizing my mistakes I try to summon anything to grab onto to help slow or stop my descent, but nothing appears. I realize the other thing, I over used my quirk. I look around me to see there is nothing for me to grab, but I notice the pink girl with a determined face and having acid underneath her coming to me. She jumps moments before I hit the ground and she grabs me in a bear hug. Right after she grabs me, the alarm rings signifying the end of the exam. My vision starts to darken as the adrenaline wears off.
