"You are completely insane." Connor remarked as he was helping Victoria down the hallway, since her body was still fighting off the electricity. Even though he had absorbed almost all of it.
"Love you too." Victoria said as she looked over at Jordan and Griff, who were joining them and she was shaking her head. "Is it Garrett?" She asked.
"Garrett... And a bunch of his fucking cronies." Griff replied and Victoria sighed at the words, before she was nodding.
"Connor, you didn't want to get involved in any of this. So, go out the back and go home before this gets ugly." Victoria suggested and Connor scoffed.
"Yeah right. I am staying with the rest of you, at least until you can walk upright like a normal human being again." Connor said and she was looking at him, narrowing her eyes in confusion at the sudden stubbornness. "I'm not leaving." He said stubbornly as she sighed.
"Fine." Victoria said and she was standing up on her own for the most part, limping to the door as she walked out and she was staring at Garrett and a bunch of his cronies and she saw them lining up together in front of a bunch of cars.
Connor walked forward along with Griff and Jordan, while the kids were all staying inside and Victoria was shaking her head at who stood with Garrett and his group.
Linden was standing next to Garrett and Victoria sighed, nodding slightly. "Why are you back here, Garrett? There is nothing for you here, we aren't doing anything." She said and Garrett scoffed.
"On the flipside, you are taking away my business." Victoria scoffed at the words and Garrett stared at her. "You tried to turn two of my best people last month and then you did turn one of my others." Garrett stated and Victoria lifted her eyebrows, before she turned to see that Heather was following them out.
"It is not my fault that nobody wants to work with you." Victoria replied and she was aware of the liquid that was running through the grass, since it had rained recently and she was ready for a fight if it came down to it. "Back off, Garrett. You're on my turf and you're facing my people." She ordered and Garrett was shaking his head.
"You're going to regret this act of defiance, Victoria. I promise you..." Victoria's eyes flashed as everyone in Garrett's group was suddenly doused with water and Victoria hadn't moved an inch but it didn't take a genius, to figure out who was the cause of it.
Garrett spat water to the side and he was glaring at her, before Griff was suddenly choking and Victoria's eyes snapped over to him. Garrett was choking him and Victoria's eyes flashed back to Garrett as she was seething with rage. "I warned you, don't..." A blast of electricity sent Garrett flying and Griff choked in air, as Heather was helping him up again.
"Fuck with electrics?" Connor said and Garrett was staring at him, since Connor's fingers were still crackling with electricity. Garrett's shirt was full of holes from the electric strike and Garrett was getting up, his eyes flashing with anger. "Leave the kid alone." Connor warned and Garrett was staring at all of them.
Griff was back on his feet, angrily glaring at Garrett and he was itching for revenge, they could see it. Jordan's bracelets were twisting and reforming themselves in midair and her knives were dancing around her. Victoria didn't have anything noticeably different about her, but the others had the sense to back up. Garrett got up and Linden was racing forward like a juggernaut and Victoria's eyes flashed, before she was dousing the Brawn in water.
"Now!" She ordered and at the word, Jordan sent the metal flying towards their opposition and then it was locking around Linden's wrists as he continued to run at them. Victoria's eyes flashed and Garrett's eyes widened, but he was too late to do anything as three completely separate bolts of electricity were hitting Linden and the entire area lit up.
Victoria threw up her hands to protect her eyes and now, Jordan was turning away from the scene and they were also closing their eyes to try and protect them. The light faded and Victoria was opening her eyes again, blinking as she tried to get used to the normal light of the fading daylight as it moved towards sunset.
Linden shuddered on the ground, before the Brawn stilled and Victoria looked up at Garrett across the way, who was staring at her in shock. Jaime and the twins were standing in the line as well now, they had shown up after the lightshow was over as Garrett was shaking his head. "You would kill one of us?" He asked and Victoria tilted her head.
"One of you." Victoria replied evenly and Garrett's eyes widened. "You taught me to be completely ruthless, Garrett. You should have known that it was going to come back and bite you in the ass one day." Victoria noted. "You taught me to take care of my people and that is exactly what I'm doing. Get your people off of my territory, back the fuck off and walk away before I am forced to do something else."
"You wouldn't." Garrett stated and Victoria scoffed at the words.
"You wanna bet on that?" Victoria asked and Garrett was narrowing his eyes at her. "Walk away now and I won't have to do something that I regret." She said and his eyes were darkening at the words, but Victoria wasn't backing down and the others were lined up behind her.
"Fine." Garrett said and Victoria didn't move until they were driving away, bringing the body with them and Victoria sighed. Victoria staggered and Jordan ran forward along with Connor, who each supported her from one side.
"I think that I have done enough for today." Victoria stated casually and they were laughing hoarsely at the words, before they were helping her into the house again.
"We will stick around until you are back on your feet." Jordan said and Connor glanced at Jordan with lifted eyebrows. "Well, I will anyways." Jordan replied to the look on Connor's face and Jordan was walking into the kitchen to put on a pot of coffee.
"You already did more than you said you would." Victoria muttered and quickly now, she was messing around with a metal bracelet that Jordan had made for her out of some scrap metal she had found laying around one day. "Go home, Connor. Go back to your job that actually makes you money." Victoria said as she was leaning back on the couch, her eyes flashing with pain and exhaustion.
"Tori, try not to get yourself electrocuted by our daughter again." Connor stated bluntly and Victoria scoffed at the words, before she nodded and Connor was catching the keys that Victoria threw to him. "You want it back?" Connor asked and Victoria shook her head silently, before he was walking out of the house.
