Chapter 1

Han Jiaojiao was already satisfied when she died.

She thought to herself: I can finally be with my brother. I have been waiting for a long time...

With this hopeful mood, Han Jiaojiao aimed at her temple and pulled the trigger.

At the last moment, the wind seemed to rise all around, and countless huge air currents hit her body, but she didn't care. Anyway, nothing could stop her now.

She is going to her brother.

Her brother has been waiting for her for too long. The ground is so dark and cold. How can she let her brother be alone? Fortunately, she will be able to see her brother soon.

  ............

Han Jiaojiao waited for death with great expectations. She struggled in the darkness. The whole world seemed like a quagmire, making her feel cold all over. She thought that she must be dead.

  ...This is really, really good.

The waiting to fall into darkness seemed as long as a century, or it seemed like just a moment.

When he opened his eyes again, he was greeted by darkness.

Han Jiaojiao felt her head hurt a little, and she slowly sat up, feeling confused.

The touch in her hand was a soft bed - how long had it been since she slept in a bed? Maybe half a year, maybe a year? It seems that since the death of her brother, she has never slept peacefully. For a long time, she lived in a small cave in the Gobi Desert. The furs of various mutant animals were spread on the ground, which was her bed. .

After her eyes adjusted to the dark night, Han Jiaojiao looked at her surroundings.

White walls, elegant curtains, simple yet beautiful tables and chairs, the floor was very clean, and a thick suede carpet lay along the corner of the bed. Han Jiaojiao looked up at the bottle rack beside the bed in a daze. This place looked familiar to her, but she couldn't remember where it was.

She just sat on the bed in a daze, trying to clear her thoughts, but there was a dull pain in the back of her head.

Han Jiaojiao touched her head, and there was a thick layer of gauze at her fingertips.

  Is she hurt?

But... isn't she already dead? ...

Han Jiaojiao was even more confused.

Is it possible that the current superpower is so powerful that it can be revived even if the head is broken? ...It's just that she has never made a friend with healing powers, so who would bother to save her?

In this world, except for her brother who dotes on her the most, who else treats her sincerely? Who else is willing to help her save her without expecting anything in return?

  ...No, there won't be.

Han Jiaojiao held her head in her hands and let her tears fall drop by drop on the snow-white quilt, quickly soaking a large area...

Perhaps it was because the night was so quiet that such slight sobbing seemed particularly clear.

The door on one side of the room suddenly opened. A middle-aged woman stood at the door of the partition in the room. She looked at Han Jiaojiao crying on the bed in surprise and said, "Miss?...Why are you crying? It's because you have a headache." Are you still feeling uncomfortable somewhere?"
