"Jungkook, you've been staring at your phone for like an hour now, my dude. Are you okay?" Taehyung flops down onto the bed next to him, patting his head like a puppy. Jungkook briefly wonders if Taehyung knows that he, in fact, is not his pet.
"Yeah. No. I dunno. I just feel stupid sometimes, I guess. Like, I'm going all out for this guy, even going so far as to join a fucking frat just to fulfill some fantasy thing he had. All on the off chance that he might, maybe, possibly, go on a freaking date at the end."
"You really like him that much?" Taehyung asks softly, and Jungkook nods. "I mean, I know it seems like I'm some thirsty freshman, but there's more to it. We don't just fuck. We talk about real things and he...gets me. I think. For the most part anyways."
"Have you told him that you're serious about him?" Jungkook grimaces at Taehyung's words. "Kinda. I asked him to go on a date and that I really liked him. But he just wants to mess around and "Have the whole college experience." Whatever that means." Jungkook grumbles.
"Okay, so it sounds to me like you need a plan. Operation Jikook is in effect!" Taehyung exclaims, excitedly bouncing on the bed. "Wtf is a Jikook?" Jungkook asks his crazy friend. "It's your ship name. I just made it. Genius, right?" Taehyung laughs and Jungkook shakes his head.
"So what's our plan then?" Jungkook asks. Taehyung looks deep in thought for a moment. "You need to woo him." Jungkook stares at his friend with a disgusted grimace. "Who the fuck uses the word "Woo" anymore." Tae just laughs.
"It doesn't matter what word you use. Just make him see you want him for more than sex." Tae tells him, and Jungkook mulls over his words. He sees the merit, but-"That doesn't mean we can't have sex, right?" Taehyung raises an eyebrow. "How else will he know you want more?"
