Background
Chunja and Donghyun attended Daewon Foreign Language High School together. Despite being in the same class for three years, they never spoke, they weren't friends, just acquaintances who shared mutual circles.
It wasn't until October 2019, when Chunja's debut in DIVINE was announced, that Donghyun finally spoke to her. As a small congratulatory gift, he bought snacks for her and their mutual friend during break.
A month later, in November 2019, Donghyun debuted himself. Chunja and their mutual friend decided to return the favor, putting together a congratulatory gift basket for him.
Still, despite these small gestures, they remained distant acquaintances, only occasionally seeing each other when their friend groups overlapped.
That changed in December 2019. At a gathering with their high school friends, Chunja and Donghyun both showed up to catch up with their classmates. It was during this night that they truly got to know each other, sparking the start of their friendship.
As time passed, they grew closer, and at every social event, their interactions became more comfortable and affectionate. Their mutual friends even began suspecting that something was going on between them, believing they were secretly dating.
