"I have something to tell you," Jungkook said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Jin's heart pounded in his chest. This was it, the moment he had been waiting for. But before he could respond, Jungkook continued.
"I'm leaving for the States after graduation," Jungkook said, his gaze fixed on the ground.
Jin felt like the air had been knocked out of him. He had suspected as much, but hearing the words out loud made it real. He opened his mouth to speak, to tell Jungkook how he felt, but the words wouldn't come.
