Everyone looked at the screen as the title showed 'A Light Stolen'. As everyone looed at the title trying to discern the meaning V looked shocked "wasn't that the nickname I was going to- oh, I see" V thought as she looked at J who got the message "lets see who the better mother is" J thought as she payed close attention to the screen as did V.

Point of View: V

Through the chilling winds of a starry night flew a figure going speeds one could barely perceive. The figure could be likened to an angel of death; however, the feminine and robotic appearance told that it was not angelic in origin. The machine that flew through the cold sky was known by the local mechanical population of Worker Drones, who had called her and her kind murder drones, which wasn't that far off from the actual name of the Disassembly Drones. From afar, if one had gotten a good look at the winged robot, one could spot the robot hugging something close to her chest, something pill-shaped. Could it perhaps be an untrained neural network? And if that was true, what was the murder drone planning to do to it?

If V had to be honest, she wouldn't even dare think about hurting her precious little baby U... the only thing she had left from a previous life. A life that she desired to leave untouched in her memories. A life where she and her memory-wiped squadmate, the father of her precious U, were torn away from... that thing and its inability to express its emotions in any other form but words. All V cared about was murdering toasters and providing care and oil to her little pill baby. She was glad that thing didn't change her little baby that much.

Taking a moment to look down at Serial-Designation U, V took note of her child's peacefully sleeping. If one was blind enough, you could almost mistake U for any other untrained neural network; her yellow eyes were all the telltale signs that this was a baby disassembler. Other than that, you couldn't tell her apart from the average untrained neural network. However, unlike what she assumed normal-untrained neural networks were like, just like U's mother, she needed a lot of oil to keep her from overheating. Serial Designation U was V's own baby disassembler. Her only shining beacon in this cruel universe. It made her almost feel bad for being her mother. Who would want her for a mom?

Just as she asked herself that question, V spotted a wandering troupe of toasters below in the snowy wastes of the city. Shaking off her prior thoughts, V began to look for a safe spot to stash away U. Initially, if it had just been herself out in this desolate wasteland, she'd have gone straight for the center mass of the crowd of worker drones and went ballistic... however she had brought her child with her, meaning she had to follow one of J's personal orders that didn't hail from the company, she was not allowed to traumatize the poor infant with mass murder.

What exactly was the order when it came to her child? Well, it was something stupid. Something about not risking another chance of another psychopath on the team in the future. She couldn't precisely remember what J's reason was, but what she did know was that killing around three or two workers in front of U was totally fine, and anything exceeding five was going to cause the disassembler in training to be just like her mother. If you asked V her opinion, she would say it was stupid. If J wanted to tell others what they should do with their children, she should have her own child with a disassembler from another squad. Because N was already taken, even if he doesn't remember their relationship.

Spotting a locker out in the cold expanses of the frozen city, not far away from the gathering of toasters, V carefully approached the spot and landed quietly, with just enough subtlety to not wake the baby and warn the workers of her presence. Taking one more look at U, V gave her child a gentle kiss on her forehead, accidentally waking the baby just as she opened the locker door. Making a quiet hush sound to her baby, V whispered.
