LDR PART II (MiChaeng)

Chaeyoung's POV:

I'm here in the kitchen. Somehow, helping Mom. It's my special day today. But I don't know why I'm kinda irritated. Or maybe it's because my girlfriend isn't messaging me until now.

I was really excited to wake up earlier for me to receive a birthday greeting from her. But there's none. As in zero. Our last message was last night before she went to sleep. The heck! It's already 12:30 in the afternoon and she's still sleeping?!

"Chaeyoung, did you already invited your friends?"

"Yes Mom"

She's cooking a lot of foods to be eaten later for my celebration. Dad is at work right now and for my sister? I don't know where she is.

"Hey there birthday girl. Hi Auntie"

I was startled when Momo unnie came in. She is Sana unnie's sister and the other one who also loves to visit us is Jihyo unnie. They're our cousins. Really really close cousins to be exact.

"Hi Momo. Where's your sister and Jihyo?"

"They're with Nayeon, Auntie. They went somewhere together with Jeongyeon and Tzuyu"

Huh, It's the first time Nayeon unnie didn't take me with them.

"Chaeyoung"

I was cut from my train of thoughts when Momo unnie called my name.

"What is it Unnie?"

"Come with me. Auntie, I'll just borrow Chae for a while"

"Go on Momo"

This Raccoon unnie drag me to the living room and we both sit on the couch. She looks so worried and at the same time distressed.

"Promise me first not to freak out, okay?"

"Just cut to the chase, Unnie"

She sighed and did something on her phone, then showed something to me.

That can't be my girlfriend. Although I really can tell that it is her according to her back figure.

"That's not her Unnie"

She showed me another stolen picture of them. I can now see Mina's face. But the girl she is with isn't. My penguin is laughing based on the picture.

"It's just probably her relative. Let's not jump into conclusion"

Momo unnie was so done with me and showed me a picture that broke my heart.

That anonymous girl leaned onto Mina like she was gonna kiss her.

"Just relatives huh? Chae, you're in a long distance relationship with her. Anything can happen without both of you knowing it. I'm really sorry. At first I don't like your girlfriend for you but now I saw some evidence, I've seen enough. It's up to you to decide whether to continue being with her or not"

I don't know what to say. It's like my body stopped functioning because of what I saw. How could she do this to me?

"W-who sent those you? Does my Unnie know it already?"

"Y-yes, she got furious once I told her about it. And it's an anonymous person who sent it to me. I was also shocked at first so I went straight here needing to tell you. I'm sorry again Chae. This ruined your birthday now"

"Thank you for telling me, Unnie. If Mom ever go look for me, kindly tell her that I'll just be in my room resting"

I stood up from the couch and went straight to my room not forgetting to lock the door. Then I walk towards my bed and lie down. My tears already rolling down through my cheeks.
