I ran out of the house after reading Payton's letter, I had no words to what she went threw and still is. I truly wanted to look for her first but Charles explained that my sister can help us look for our mate faster. I trust him so I will have to see what happens in the year. I ran for half the day and then ran back home to talk with my mates parents. I was still upset with how my parents treated Payton's son but for now I will leave it be. We needed to find out who is there spy and I need to let payton's family know what happened to her. She had nothing to worry about when it came to Angel, Charles and I see him as our son, so we will keep him safe.
I got to the pack house and got dressed behind a bush. Once I got inside my parents and Payton's family were sitting in the kitchen. I looked around and saw the guilt in my parents eyes, I just looked away because they don't seem to understand what is going on.
"Erik and Alpha Skylar I have some news about my mate but you aren't going to like it." I told them
"What is it?" they asked
"I really can't saw it out loud so I am just going to pass this to you." with that I passed them Payton's note
"Dad we have a problem but we will go into that somewhere private." I explained
He just nodded and waited until I was ready.
"WHAT!!!" YELLED Alpha Skylar and Erik
They both ran outside and transformed into there wolf forms, I walked to the back door and told them to meet us in my dad's office when they have calmed down.
"Let's go" I told my parents
I saw my mom pick up Payton's letter and read it on our way to the office, she had tears falling down her cheeks. She passed the letter to my dad and he started reading it to, he even had tears in his eyes and looked guilty as ever for thinking the worse of her.
"I need to get my pup so I will meet you there." I explained and walked away
"What?" they both whispered before there eyes showed understands
I walked into my room and saw Angel sitting up waiting.
"Can I call you Dad?" he asked
"You can call me anything you like buddy." I answered
"Great because my fox told me that you are our father no matter what." he explained
"Well I see you as my own pup even if your no wolf." I told him truthfully
"Great and I suppose we are going to go and talk about this spy you have right?" he asked
"Yes we are and more." I finished
"Ok but I am kinda hungry." he told me and next thing we heard was his growling stomach.
Chuckling I asked the chefs to cook some food for me and send it to my dad's office. They told me they will get right to it, so we just sat down and talked about anything really.
Once I knew the food was in the office I told Angel he had to keep his face hidden, he told me okay and we finally made it to my dad's office and my mates family was in there sitting.
"Ok guys lets get down to business" I told them
