A/N. Hi I'm not very satisfied with the next 2 chapter. I'm late on uploading so I didn't bother to proofread or check it for spelling or grammatical errors but I will be sure to go back and change some things in this when I get around to it. So lookout for updates sometime this week.

"Are you sure?" Maya asks as takes another bite into her sandwich. It's a nice day here in Charleston. One of the nicest days we've had in a long time so of course a lot of students including ourselves decided to eat our lunch outside. Trinity was having her usual salad while I had someone over the weekend managed to gain this enormous appetite it was like I couldn't shove enough food into my face. For lunch today I was having two salad, a sandwich, followed by some leftover spaghetti my mom had made last night and a bowl of chili.

Maya and Trinity looked at me worriedly as I started to dip my sandwich in my chili but ignored them and listened to the feelings of hunger that raged in my belly.

"Yes, I'm sure." I managed to say between bites

"She took two test." Trinity explained. Maya nodded wiping her mouth as she began to lean her head into her hand for support.

"When did this happen?"

"The party you two went to when I was away on vacation." Trinity said calmly as she begin to move her lettuce around with her fork. Maya frown for a moment before she broke out into a huge grin as if she was reliving the party in her head.

"Now that shit was rad." She laughed as Trinity shot her a serious look.

"Focus Maya" I smiled.

"What the hell are you gonna do though?" Maya asked in all seriousness. My shoulders fell as I laid the remaining bit of sandwich back in its wrapping. She had to ask the million dollar question. Sunday I had only begun to come to terms with the fact that I could possibly be pregnant hanging on to the slightest hope that maybe just maybe they test had made a mistake but following Trinity's instruction I took the last test as soon as I woke up this morning and once again I was greeted with another +.

"I don't know." I answered honestly both of my friends gave me apologetic looks.

"You have to tell you mom of course."

"And you have to tell the father." Trinity added I could already see the corner I was being backed into and once again I prayed for an escape.

"Who is the father," Maya began "...you never said."

Trinity glances at Maya for a moment before they both turn their attention to me.

"Who's the father?" Trinity presses

There's no reason to avoid anything anymore. I sigh as I realized I've already dug my grave so now like my grandmother always said I needed to lay in it.

"Okay its V-"

"Trinity. Bae where you been," my brother yells as he approaches our table quickly followed by Von. He's staring at me again at this time I don't break eye contact. His eyes burn into me and I wish for once he could know and understand why I had grown to hate him so much. His sits next be and says nothing as we watch another one Jamel's failed attempts to spit game on my best friend.

"Where's your girlfriend?" I ask sharply not able to stop the words before they escape my lips. Von grips the edge of the table with his fingertips and his eyes finally find somewhere else to stare.

"You know I'm not some lost puppy who follows her around" he whispers allowing only myself to hear his words. I shrug my shoulder knowing I should keep my mouth shut but at this point it already too late.

"Right but I think she should otherwise your very prone to 'wandering of'"

"So that's what this is about?"

"Why would it be about anything else Da'Von. Do you have a belt or a book that you're put notches in?"

His eyes meet mine again and I can see the anger starting to build inside of him.

"It wasn't like that." He insists

"I know exactly what it's like."

"Pepper we used to be friends."

"Keyword is used to."

"You know I miss you."

"I'm aware of how much you missed me" I say sarcastically added more fuel to the flames. He takes a deep breath trying to calm himself as I try to convince myself that I should stop trying to push him over the edge.

"Was I a good fuck?" I ask innocently as I watch him flinch at the use of my language

"Pepper, you know it wasn't lik-"

"You're right it wasn't like that. Because it obviously okay to take advantage of your best friend's little sister."

"Dammit Pepper" he finally yells. He slams his fist into the table causing and I jump as Maya, Trinity and Jamel seize they conversation and we all turn our attention to Von. I can hear a few people begin to whisper but I can't take my eyes off of him. He's breathing hard and his fists are in a tight ball on the table. He looks at me with a furious look before he shakes his head and heads back towards the building.

Jamel looks at me confusingly as he begins to get up from his seat.

"What the hell just happened?" He asks as he begins to head after Von. I shake my head leaning to rest myself up against my arm.

"Yea what did just happened" Maya followed curiously a she watched Jamel and Von begin to get in a heated agreement. I stare at Von feelings guilty but at the same time unable to fight the feelings of hate and anger that seem to burn in my chest. Trinity watches me for a moment before her eyes open wide in realization and then I know I've given myself away.

"Its's him isn't it" she questions as I begin to collect my trash and head inside before the bell.

"Oh Pep," she says synthetically

"It's him what..?"

"It's Von Maya. Von's the father."
