Cedric sat down at his assigned desk in the corner of the Assisstant Principal's office lobby. The school had handpicked 70 students to work in one of the 5 administrative offices around the building. Cedric was one of them. Alongside him was his best friend and closest classmate, Caroline.

"Y'all are a bit early, ain't it?" Inquired the office secretary. He glanced over from his computer to the two kids.

"Well, we did our work early-" Cedric answered, gesturing at himself and Caroline. "So the teacher let us leave 5 minutes before the 4th bell."

The secretary nodded and gestured for them to sit down. "Well, the counselor is just finishing up on a new student's schedule, so could you be so kind as to tour them around when she's done?"

Cedric and Caroline looked at each other, then back to the secretary. Caroline forced a smile.

"Sure, how much longer?" She asked impatiently.

"Just a few minutes," He replied. "In the meantime, I have these two deliveries."

The second secretary stood up quickly and reached over him. "And these too, could yall take these downstairs to the main office?" She handed a folder to each of the kids.

"Sure..." Cedric sighed.

They both took two papers and two folders. It seemed they had to do with the new kid: his behavioral and academic report from his last school.

As Cedric walked out, he began to read. Scanning across the paper, he'd noticed a few words. 'Violent', 'Impulsive', and other negative expressed thoughts by the campus admins.

"Girl... yikes. He's from Sol-Fields. And he has a horrible behavioral record." Cedric gasped.

Caroline put a finger to her mouth and wrapped her jacket, imitating a teacher. "Erm, that is classified district information. That is absolutely unacceptable to read another student's information." She laughed and unwrapped her jacket.

"Spill, what does it say girlie?" Caroline leaned over as she pushed open the door to the stairwell.

"Well.. where do I start... ok. I guess the district hates him cause' like girl- he has a long record of bullying since the fourth grade. He even apparently cussed out some of his teachers at Kiernan."

"Oop-" Caroline put a hand to her mouth and raised her eyebrows in shock, appalled at who they were probably about to handle when they got back. "Not him being an Alaska sized red flag..."

They both laughed.

"Anyways, what's the academic report like?" Cedric inquired.

Caroline gulped and read the paper in fast succession.
"His finals consist of up to the 200s, so he's below average - his semester averages are looking like rounding out maybe 80 or so... and his midterms were a total flop. He was held back one year... oopsie."

She stopped and veered off to a classroom door, knocking vigorously and handing a small slip to the teacher. She came back and continued reading.

"So, besides all that, he was actually a disgrace to his teachers. Almost all of them left a B14 comment."

Cedric gasped.

"Girl, no... you mean the-"

"Mhm."

"ALC/DMC Recommended?!"

"Sho' is."

Cedric cackled and paused for a moment to catch his breath. "Ooh. Ooh girl. So... he's low-down and dirty, but so are his grades -" He paused again and laughed some more. "That's embarassin'---" He remarked, stretching out the n.
