Victoria's phone rang out and she lifted her eyebrows, before she was tapping the screen quickly. "Victoria speaking." She said into the phone, holding it up to her ear quickly as she was grabbing a cup of coffee.
"I need help! I have one of those dogs on my heels, one of those new robotic K-9 units. I need help." At the words, Victoria's eyes flashed as she was quickly putting down her coffee. "It is chasing me, I don't know what to do." Whoever he was on the other end, he was frantic.
"Where are you?" Victoria asked and after getting the address, he hung up and Victoria's eyes flashed again. "Griff! Heather!" She hollered out for her newest lieutenants of sorts and the two of them were racing over to her from opposite ends of the house.
Griff was focusing on the address and he grunted in pain at whatever he was sensing, before he was pointing at the alleyway next to it decisively on the maps as Victoria's eyes darkened as she was nodding.
"Get there fast." Griff really wasn't at all kidding about it and Victoria focused, before she disappeared in a splash of water and Griff was looking over at Heather, who was rolling up the maps. "Leave them up, in case we get another call." He said and really it was more of an order than a suggestion and Heather nodded, before she was leaving them on the table quickly.
Victoria had landed a few alleys over and she landed running, as she was real quickly moving through the alleyways and she was jumping over a bunch of toppled garbage cans.
Victoria heard someone screaming and she ran harder, quickly sending a blast of water at the K-9 that was crawling towards a powered man, who was terrified as he held his hands up.
Victoria ran forward at the sight of the dog moving, but she was too late as the K-9 stuck him with something and he was convulsing.
Victoria was staring at the dog, which was staring at her and Victoria was seething and the other powered was still, as she was reaching out carefully and he was dead.
The dog was lunging for her and Victoria jumped over the dog quickly, disappearing into the form of water before it could stick her with a needle, full of whatever the hell it had stuck him with.
"Tarak!" The young teenage girl that was suddenly behind her, she was screaming for someone that Victoria was guessing, the dead guy on the ground.
"Get back!" Victoria shouted at her and suddenly, the girl screamed and the dog was being completely destroyed. Victoria's eyes flashed in shock at the sight and she looked over at the girl, who trembled with fear. "I can help you, okay?" Victoria said as the girl was backing up. "We have to run."
"Stay away from me!" The girl screamed and Victoria sighed, before she disappeared into the water and reluctantly, she left the girl to fight for herself.
Victoria was lying down on her bed silently and she was shaking her head, thinking and she was looking over at the pictures that were sitting on the closer edge of her bedside table.
Victoria was picking up one of the photos and she saw that it was Connor, Tommy and herself. Victoria smiled faintly at the sight of it, before she put the photo back as she was shaking her head.
Her phone beeped and she put the picture down, before she was grabbing her phone as she opened it quickly.
Garrett: They're coming for you next. Don't you say that I never did anything for you.
There was a screen cap that was clearly a picture of her, crouching in front of the dog and staring at it with water everywhere, all around her as she was seething in the photo with anger and rage.
Victoria shut off her phone and she hit the silent alarm, as everyone was seeing the big and bright flashing lights that are very clear for everybody in the house to see.
Victoria met them all in the living room of the big house and she was shaking her head at them, before they woke up and realized what was happening.
"We have to move now. Start packing up everything that you need, we are headed out to this address." Victoria was showing them the address and they were packing up everything and now, they were all running around the place almost like there were ants in their pants.
Victoria was handing out the car keys quickly and she was catching Griff by the arm, before she was shaking her head and he was looking at her.
"What's wrong?" Griff asked and she was shaking her head.
"I need you to stay with me right here in Lincoln City, if you choose to." Victoria said as Griff looked very much surprised at the words. "Heather can take the kids out to the address, I need your help." She said as Griff sighed.
"What do you need me to do, Tori?" He asked and she was nodding slightly at him before the rest were leaving.
That was how almost two days later, Griff was charging through the door and he was rather recklessly tackling the brawn that held Connor up by his throat.
Griff shouted in a rage, sending the brawn backwards with a surge of telekinesis just as Connor was forcing the pyro's hand up towards the sprinklers and setting them off in the building.
As soon as the water was triggered by the sprinklers, Victoria appeared in the middle of the fight and quickly, she kicked the pyro across the room with a glare. "Griff, get out of here. Go!" She ordered and without waiting, he disappeared and went running out of the room.
Victoria was dragging Pav out of the room just before the electricity surged as she was nodding, before she waited and Connor was walking out of the building.
"How the hell did you know where we were?" Connor asked and she was shaking her head, before they were quickly walking away from the Towers, as fast as they could.
