i couldn't fall asleep that night.
all i thought about was elia.
did she feel the same way?

i decided to call phil, for advice.
after a few seconds he picked up
"hi mate, why are you calling at this hour? is everything alright?" he asked
"yeah and no"
"whats on your mind?"
"well, you can't tell anyone"
"okay i promise"
"so, that girl you know"
"your crush?"
"um- doesn't matter, anyway she uh"
"what?"
"she kissed me"
"WHAT??"
"on my cheek"
"omg tommy"
"but i don't know if she likes me"
"isn't that obvious?"
"i just can't imagine someone like her falling for me"
"what do you mean someone like her?"
"she's so out of my league"
"well, don't think like that. you are an amazing dude, and if she kissed you, its pretty clear right?"
"yeah well but what if she's playing me"
"listen i don't know her personally, but from what i've heard from you and judging by her instagram she doesn't seem like she would do such a thing"
"okay, ill see how tomorrow goes then"
"call me tomorrow evening to tell me everything"
"i will"
"okay good"
we stayed quiet for a minute until i said
"phil?"
"yes?"
"thank you"
"for what?"
"for this"
"of course mate, anytime"
"im going to sleep now"
"okay, goodnight king"
"goodnight dad"
after that i hang up.
it felt good to get this off my chest and i could finally get some sleep.
