galvin was sitting on the stone table outside their rental house while smoking. his black eyes stared deep into the thick forest that surrounded their dormitory. his thoughts were empty like his black eyes, the quiet and empty atmosphere outside the house was not exactly the same as the state of his noisy head.

galvin, miley, wayne, casp, theo, fynn and sean have been close friends since high school because of their different social status.

"guys i heard there's a new kid coming into our school." theo

"a girl ?" miley.

miley sneakily smiled

sean hit the back of miley's head with a loud sound of the blow that echoed one class made the other students look at them.

"us that the only thing you're thinking about ? why not just try something better ? and one more thing I've heard is he's a guy and people say he is a smart one" sean.

"ouch ! it's hurt na khun sean, you can just say it no need to get physical" miley.

"you think I don't know what you mean from that question?" sean.

"ha gal, people say he's good at academics and he always goes to math and science olympic and has won many times. some say he never goes down from his ranking which is number 1. what you gonna do about it?" theo.

galvin looked at the back and blinked several times and just lifted his shoulder.

"how would i know, if he's really good then i will have a competitor, I'm bored to be a genius alone. all of you just so dumb, well not you sean obviously don't get offended naa. i said to others" galvin.

sean's just glared into galvin's direction and ignored him and continued on doing his exercise for the next subject.

"what is his name ?" wayne.

"who?" miley.

"the janitor .... of course the new kid you stupid !" wayne.

"his name is........"

galvin was struck when he heard the sound of friction on the sloping trees near the house and looked to see if it was the cause of the noise.

"that man in black!" said galvin in his heart.

he got up in such a hurry that he almost fell off the chair he sat on a moment ago but he managed to re-balance his body. his eyes stared at the black man's eyes with anxiety, his whole body trembling with fear, the cold sweat from his forehead, his heart beating fast and his breathing fast.

"wa- what do you want with us?" galvin.

the black man just walked slowly near galvin who also slowly retreated away from the man. after being within about two meters of galvin the man stopped instead of approaching galvin and took out the blue rubber gloves and wore it while staring sharply towards galvin.

"I don't want anything very much, galvin. I just want you all dead."

"why? why do you want us to die?" galvin.
