Lani's POV 3:25 PM 📍 DD & Lani's House
DD has been gone for a full week on tour, and of course I watched every single clip of my baby.
He told me that he was going to be gone for a week and maybe a half so maybe he's coming home soon...hopefully..
Every day we FaceTimed each other everyday and we sometimes fell asleep on the phone with each other.
As I was sitting on the balcony of the 4th floor of our mansion I felt my phone vibrate beside me.
It was a text message from DD "Hey mami, I'll be home next Wednesday. Apparently Kiana (his manager) wants me to have a party for a successful party. I luv u baby. I promise I'll be home next week."
After I finished reading the text message I tried to wipe my tears from my eyes but they rolled down anyway. I really missed him and I was actually expecting to see him either today or tonight.
I responded back to his message with, "Hey pa, it's ok I'll just be waiting for you when you get here. I love you too"
I got off the balcony walking to our shared room getting a bathing suit to go sit in the pool. The pool was like my relaxation and therapy so when I didn't have DD, that's where I went.
As I walked to the elevator going to the first floor, our small Pomeranian, Ruby ran to catch up with me. I picked her up and brought her with me. I walked into the room before the backyard changing, then me and Ruby headed to the pool.
Without a warning, Ruby just ran to the pool and jumped in. "I'm glad she knows how to swim" I said to myself.
I sighed and got in the pool resting my arms and head on the edge. I was just thinking about when I finally get to see DD again when I was snapped out my thoughts by Ruby barking then coming to float under me.
