There is lots of things that my mum used to say and truth to be told, I remember every single one of them
„Sometimes you gotta do the right things, even if it hurts like a hell"

But there is one quote, that I remember the most. I remember the exact moment when my mom said it

Y/N's age: Twelve years old
Little Y/N is sitting in a chair at the hospital, waiting for the doctors tell him how is his mother doing
With a toy, he got from his mom in his hands, he can feel his hearth racing. There is like one billion thoughts in his mind
In the other room. There is his mom, laying in the hospital bed, her skin is just white
Doctor: I know that you're afraid how will your son handle this whole situation. I know you're afraid that he has no-one else
Emily: Yeah...
Doctor: There is his father, isn't there?
Emily: There is. But he has no idea he has a son. After I found out about Y/N, I never contacted his dad again
Doctor: Well, now may be the time, Emily. You're short on time and you know that
Emily: I do know that, I'm just afraid. What if he's not gonna take Y/N like his son?
Doctor: The decision is yours, but you gotta remember, that if there's not gonna be someone to take care of him, he's gonna end up in—
Emily: I know.. I need to make a call, can you just..
Doctor: Sure, I will take little Y/N for some lunch, today we have pizza, I think he will like it
Doctor smiles at the woman and leaves the room. Emily took her phone and found one contact that she thought she will never use again
