Sarah and Kath have been bestfriends for so long now, from age 5 to age 18.. But..

Are they really bestfriends only?..

Present

Sarah's pov:

My birthday is almost coming up, I'm almost
turning 19 in after 1 week now, I got to school and
sat down next to Kath, like I always do

"Hey Kath, do you wanna hangout today?"
I broke the silence

"Sure why not! I'm not doing anything
after school anyways"

She answered, I was looking forward to our hangout today after school, I chuckled, I saw Kath's gorgeous purple eyes

Sure but.. I have been feeling something in my chest now,
I'm not sure what it is but I feel something whenever I'm with Kath.. Is it.. Love?.. No no no it can't be love, it's impossible.. We're only bestfriends.. Right?..

Kath's pov:

I notice Sarah zone out a little, I snap my fingers close to her face, "Helloo? Sarah? Earth to Sarah?" I spoke, Sarah was still zoned out, she must be daydreaming of her crush again, not that she has a crush, whenever I ask who her crush is, she always answers "I don't have one." But she must have one! She's always zoning out while looking I
at my eyes.. Her amber eyes are quite, gorgeous..

I whispered in her ear and says her name in a
seductive way

"Sarah~"

Sarah immediately shivers and flicked my forehead,
"You dumbass." She spoke in a joking voice, I chuckled softly

"Awww, is Sarah daydreaming about her crush
againnn??~" I said, she blushed a little

"S-Shut it Kath.. You might be my bestfriend
but I am not telling my crush." She replied, I pouted

"Awww why not!... Okay okay fine!
What if we make a deal, I tell you my crush
and you'll tell me yours!" I said in a happy way

Sarah's pov:

I gulped, i was nervous and my heart was beating so fast, Kath is gonna tell me who her crush is...

"My crush is Carlos from next class!
Isn't he so handsome???"

Kath spoke, my heart
shattered.. I didn't know I could feel heartbroken when
Kath told me her crush... I tried to cover up with a smile..

"C.. Cool.. Mine is Jaden.." I lied, Jaden isn't actually
my crush.. Kath is... I felt my blood boiling inside, but I have to control my anger issues.. I need to, I don't have a choice..

After school

So me and Kath hangout, we were strolling in the park, I kept glancing at Kath every second passed, suddenly Kath saw an ice cream truck, she smiles cheerfully, she checks
her pocket for money but she didn't have any.. She pouts..
