I need to study like really bad.

Otherwise I won't be accepted into my dream collage. But I can't do that if I hear screaming downstairs!

I sigh, taking my glasses off and setting them on my desk. I close my math book shut and grab the piles of work I'm supposed to do that's due tomorrow.

All my teachers gave me atleast ten pages of homework today that's due tomorrow. That's so stupid. They claim its help for our finals. I have atleast five books and papers and notebooks in my arms right now as I go downstairs.

I look at the living room and see Asher, Adrian, Alex, and Brayden playing video games screaming.

I walk up to them, they still haven't noticed my presence until I stand infront of the tv turning it off.

"What!"

"Come on man!"

"Avery turn the tv back on now!"

Yeah...not my best moment.

"Shut up!" I yell, they all immediately groan and get quiet.

"Thank you." I say softly this time.

It's super quiet in the house now until I drop all my textbooks and papers onto the coffee table.

I flinched when I dropped it, and I'm guessing I almost broke the table.

"What the hell is this?" Asher asks grabbing a text book.

"My homework, due tomorrow" I say emphasizing the "tomorrow"

"Okay, get it done" he says placing it by the pile.

"Oh I would but you guys won't shut up!" I say glaring at all of them.

"Fine we'll be quiet." Asher says, I see something flicker in Adrian's eyes, even though he has his glasses on.

"Wait, if Avery has homework. Don't you have that much homework to Alex?" He says looking at him.

Alex looks unfazed as he sits up and says, "I paid a girl to do it" I look at him and he shrugs smiling.

"Then how are you going to get to collage stupid" I say crossing my arms.

"Simple, copy off of you" He says leaning back into the couch.

"No you won't" I say, it sounds very childish but I don't care.

"Avery it's fine, we'll dial it down a bit. Go study" Asher says shooing me out of the room.

I sigh before going up to my room with my books. I sit back down and put my reading glasses back on. I don't hear any yelling which I'm thankful for.

After a few hours I finally finished and check the time.

It's...3 am?! I started at 8pm.

I take my glasses off and rub my eyes before putting my stupid books away.

I go downstairs and see the house lights all off. I'm guessing everyone went to sleep and Brayden went home.
