At first, you thought it was a coincidence. Simply a gut feeling that happened to be right or a deduction based off of knowledge you had. Yet, the more you were right, the more these coincidences happened you knew it wasn't a mistake.
Images of a place you don't recognize appear. As fast as it comes the faster it goes. You take a deep breath and try to grasp the image. So close yet so far.
Your head begins to hurt as your focus becomes tense and strained. 'Why isn't this working?' You huff.
You hear something fall and you open your eyes. Immediately you know what it is. You rush down stairs. You make it half way down the stairs when you get another vision that makes you stumble.
A person, you don't know who and you barely get any details before it leaves you. A thought comes into your mind 'Hogwarts, headmaster.' You smile and continue down the stairs.
Your owls Theia and Artemis peck at food, your letter on the table beside them. You pat your owls on the head and give them some treats. You don't need to open it to know what it says but you indulge yourself.
Excitedly you look over the letter. In pretty letters it reads Hogwarts. You rip open the letter and read the first few lines stating you're accepted. You then bring it to your mother's room and leave it there for when she comes back.
When you're done you head back to your room. 'I'll try to see the images again, this time I'll focus. I need to slow it down.'
After putting on some meditative music you sit on the floor and cross your legs. 'Allow myself to see what cannot be seen, what will be and what should be.'
Rather than getting any images, you relax and focus so much you fall asleep. By the time your mom comes home to check on you, you're asleep on the floor with music still playing.
She chuckles and brings you a pillow and blanket before turning off the lights and heading to bed for the night.
