2. Asano Gakushuu...?

You were sitting under the tree. It's been a few hours since Karma broke up with you. You were starting to calm down now, your tears had stopped. You felt so tired after all that crying. You saw someone approach you. Was that... Asano Gakushuu...?

"Y/N? What happened?" (Asano)

"It's nothing.." You say, trying to fake a smile.

"No Y/N, it's not nothing. I can clearly see the tear stains. What happened?" (Asano)

"It's Karma..." (Y/N)

"Did he did something to you?" (Asano)

"He... Broke up with me..." (Y/N)

"He what?! Oh, you poor thing... Why?" (Asano)

"He said that he had to go to the E class... So he said we both shouldn't be distracted or something... Anyways, why are you asking me these...? Don't you have stuff to do?" (Y/N)

"Well, you are my classmate. And i can clearly see that you're upset with it, you
got me concerned, im not gonna lie." (Asano)

"Huh.? You're concerned about me..?" (Y/N)

"Of course! Don't worry, in here for you, okay?" (Asano)

"Thank you..." You say as you felt his warm hands around you. He was hugging
you... It felt quite warm. It felt like he was actually concerned for you... But would the top student actually concern about you?

You guys stayed like that for a minute or so. After that he let you go but kept his hands on  your shoulders.

"You go home and rest, okay? You need it after all that happened. The classes today were pretty hard too. Get some sleep." (Asano)

"Okay..." You say as both of you got up. He waved behind you as you started to walk away. He was smiling. A genuine smile...

[Karma Akabane pov]

God. I cant believe i actually broke up with her... But, It's for the best, right? She will focus more on her studies... And her reputation wouldn't be damaged as well... Then why am i still upset even if it's gonna be better for her...? Did i fall in love...? No, it's too late to go back now...

I was debating my thoughts as i was sitting at the tree near E class. I had to learn more about the area anyway... I thought i already thought about this over and over...

Just then, i realized someone approaching me.

"Hm, Asano Gakushuu, the top student came to visit me, Karma Akabane, from the E class? How sweet!" i said. I already pushed my thoughts about Y/N far back into my mind.

"I'm here to talk." (Asano)

"Huh? About what?" (Karma)

"About Y/N. I heard that you broke up with her." (Asano)

I stop. The thought of Y/N that i was trying so hard to push back, they all came back to my mind. So, i decided to avoid his question. I just down from the tree and face him.

"Hm? Interesting. The top student is interested in my personal life?" (Karma)

"Look, Karma. I know it's your personal life but Y/N is my classmate. It's only right that i worry about her. I just want to know why you broke up with her." (Asano)

I decided that i should tell him what i told Y/N. Surely, i couldn't tell him about a yellow octopus in the E class that i had to kill.

"I broke up her because i could focus on my studies. And so she could do too. Surely you wouldn't want your precious A student to fall back, would you?" (Karma)

"I think you're lying. You're hiding something." (Asano)

"And what makes you think that?" (Karma)

"You and i both know that Y/N would give you space if you wanted. She stays at school after class hours to study so i don't think that's a problem. And please don't refer to my classmates like i'm controlling them or something." (Asano)

"Well then, i can assure you that's all there is to it." (Karma)

"Well... I suppose i can't push it. Just so you know, you upset her very much. She was crying when i found her. I told her to go home for the day and rest." (Asano)

"She was...-" I was left speechless. She was crying...? I thought she would be happier since she wouldn't had to date someone from the E class...

Before i could say anything else, he was already walking away. I was left alone with my thoughts again.
