"Hoosiers is not only the best basketball movie ever made, it's the best sports movie-" Jackson said as Lydia pulled up to the video store.

"No." Lydia interrupted.

"It's got Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper-"

"No."

Hope, who was sitting in the back felt like she was watching a tennis match as she glanced back and forth between them in amusement. "Lydia, I swear to God, you'll like it." Jackson still tried to argue,

"No." Lydia.

"I am not watching The Notebook again," Jackson said and Lydia just gave him a look making him sigh and get out of the car.

"Should I go help him? I highly doubt he knows how to find the movie." Hope asked as Lydia held up her phone to take selfies.

"Probably," Lydia said as Hope got out of the car.

"What are you doing?" Jackson asked as Hope walked in.

"I assumed you don't know where 'The Notebook' is? 'Cause, I'm pretty sure you're looking at the comedy section." Hope said and Jackson looked at the row of movies he was in front of to see she was right.

"And what? You do?" He asked and she nodded.

"I came here the other night with Lydia. Romance is down here." She said as she started walking down the aisle but she slowed to a stop when she caught the scent of blood. She furrowed her brows before glancing around for a second and holding her arm out in front of Jackson.

"What?" He asked and she nodded her head in a direction making him follow her line of sight. Sticking out of one of the aisles was a pair of feet lying there unmoving. Hope slowly walked closer, Jackson following close behind. They made it to the aisle and slowly peeked around to see the store clerk, dead on the floor with blood everywhere. Jackson staggered back and tumbled right into the ladder. It went down, wires snapping with it as a spark flew from the fixture.

With an electric crackling, all of the lights flickered and died, plunging the store into darkness. The sound of movement made Hope spin around as a shelf rattled, making the DVD cases fall as something large moved behind it. Her eyes quickly flashed to her gold color and veins appeared on her cheeks. Sensing the presence of another powerful creature near her, made her growl under her breath. "Really? Now?" She mumbled quietly to herself, knowing it was the Alpha blocking them from going to the exit.

Hope grabbed Jackson's arm and pulled him behind a shelf, trying to steady his near-hyperventilating breaths. Slowly, Jackson peered up above the stacks of DVDs when suddenly, one of the shelves was knocked forward. And then, like dominoes, they began falling toward them, DVDs flying through the air. Jackson grabbed Hope's arm and moved to dart out of the way, but one of the shelves slammed down on his back, pinning his body to the floor.

Hope, on the other hand, fell on her back making the shelves roughly press down on her stomach as she groaned. As Jackson tried to push himself up a shadow fell over them making Hope suck in a deep breath, and close her eyes. Jackson held still as the store became ominously quiet and a clawed hand reached over the nape of his neck where claw marks were visible. The alpha let out a low growl before moving to stand above Hope making her groan as the shelves pushed harder on her stomach.
