[After breakfast I went out to the garden and John followed behind me]

[I was still wondering about earlier]

[Why would my own mother lie to me]

[I picked up a flower from the beautiful garden]

This flower is beautiful.

(John) Is that one of your favorite types of flowers?

Well tulips are one of my favorites but I like orchids too

[Me and John never had a conversation like something like this before and when we do have a conversation we are mostly just talk about work]

What are your favorite types of flowers John?

(John) Well honestly I never really thought about them before but as a child I always use to love roses cause my father use to give my mother them

Are you close with yours parents. [I ask waiting for an answer]

(John)Well. Not exactly my parents are divorced

Oh. I'm so sorry I had no idea

(John) No! Don't go blaming yourself it was just a question miss Elyria

[For a second I thought we had a connection but at the time he called me "miss Elyria" I've lost it]

(John) You know the flowers kind of remind me of you and you're personality

How so?

(John)Well I can just tell by the color and the way it feels in the wind
