As i walked through the empty Street, i couldn't help but feel the betrayal. It surged through my whole being. It hurt so bad that i couldn't feel anything anymore. The pain had already Pierced my heart right through my soul leaving nothing but emptiness. The anger, however, stirred something in me. It warmed my body,. Making me shudder against the chilly night air.
He had betrayed me. Just thinking of him made me sick. A slight wind blew past me making me shudder and hold the scarf against my face. It was pathetic how I had sacrificed everything just to be with him and now I had nothing.
What time was it anyway? I checked my watch and scoffed, fighting back the the tears. It was a little past midnight. Great, I had been walking around all night yet it was the first time I realized I had nowhere to go.
I gasped as fast air hit me. I had been so busy with removing the veil on my head that I hadn't realized that I was in the middle of the road. The blinding lights. I gasped and turned around just as pain rushed through me.
