I thought I learnt my lesson after I dated Matthew... I was terribly heart broken by him. We have been through many ups and downs together, but in the end he choose to go his separate ways...We both knew we could no longer be together since 'trust' was no longer in us. We tried so many times to maintain our relationship, but nothing could fix the broken pieces.
On the night that we broke up he held my hands and looked right into my eyes and said
"Melanie, your not you anymore..., your not the girl that I once loved."
"I haven't changed!, it's you who have changed"
"I can't be with someone that I can not trust"
"So after what we've been through together, you want to end it like this?"
"I I... Just don't see future with us together"
Tears came running down my cheeks as he kept talking
" I have got to admit that everyday, every hour, every minute and every second I spent with you was incredibly insane!"
I putted my arms around his neck and hugged him really tightly as if he was going to leave.
" Bbbut I still want to be with you.., I don't want to loose you."
"I'm sorry, it it just can't, I want to start a new page to my life, and your not going to be in it"
He turned around and walked off, leaving me behind. I shouted out
"Please don't leave me, please!, I would put up anything just to be with you"
He didn't look back, not even for one second. I guessed it all ended there for me and him...
