a/n.: hi there! thanks for dropping a request!! so I may or may not have cut inumaki out only bc I lowkey had no idea how to write him..... but!!! I hope this still suffices pookie bear. (I got a little carried away w choso's part lol help.

gojo was notoriously clingy. he had claimed you as his long before the two of you had made things official (you just didn't know that). the two of you were a pair. where he went, you went. there was no 'gojo' without his little mini me in tow.

everyone knew that.

so, naturally, when he saw you hanging around in the halls with some lowlife scum, he had to make his presence known.

"Hi, baby!" He called you.

You turned around quickly with a warm smile on your face. "Hey!"

the way you fit between his arms nearly had him melting all over the linoleum floor. you were so perfect, so his. he wasted no time in leaning down to press a soft kiss to your pretty lips.

he turned to the men you were previously trapped in conversation with, a shit-eating grin plastered over his face.

"Who's this?" He asked. (He knew the answer.)

"These are my new friends!" You said with a smile. If it were any other girl at school, he would have assumed the worst. Not you, though. He knew you lacked social cues. You were completely oblivious.

Even to his advances. That was really saying something.

"Satoru," One of the two boys said with a cool nod.

"In the flesh," He said in response. "I see you've met my girl."

choso considered himself to be a patient man. time and time again, he allowed things to play out rather than fussing about how long it took. Patience was a virtue. A virtue that he felt was tested every time the two of you were out together.

you were the sunlight, the stars, bright as a hundred galaxies. hell, who wouldn't be pulled to you?

but this?

"Oh, thank you!" He heard you say right as he reentered the room. You were tucking your hair behind your ear, casting an abashed look to the floor.

he knew that look. if he had to guess, the jackass who was trying to chat you up right now was making you uncomfortable. the guy had his arm braced on the wall next to you, feigning a cool facade while he tried -- and failed -- to strike up a conversation with you.

he knew the struggle. if you hadn't walked up to him, choso wasn't even sure the two of you would have been friends. (that's not even getting into the fact that you and him were polar opposites, but whatever, he was glad to have found a companion in you).

but there was something about him, about all of the men that tried coming up to you that tore him up from the inside. they made him so angry, like there was a fire in his belly. you were so sweet and innocent that you didn't even notice their true intentions with you, snide remarks about your pretty face and curvy body flying right over your head.

it drove him mad.

so he stood and watched for all of one minute -- watched from the corner of the room while you smiled at the man who was clearly making you feet uneasy -- before deciding to step in.

he didn't even care that you had told him on multiple occasions that there was 'no need' for him to 'go guard dog mode' on every guy who tried striking up conversation with you, or that you were an 'independent woman' who could 'fend for herself'.

no, he would be damned if he let anyone bother you. he had already staked his claim on you (even if he had never actually had the balls to make a move, but it's okay because he was content with being your friend).

He caught more snippets of the conversation as he approached. You were trying to put the guy off, but he wasn't catching on. Clearly, "I have plans that day, I'm sorry" wasn't sticking.

That's where he would come in. Your six foot body guard who could -- and had, at several points in time -- flip anyone who bothered you onto their back.

"You're just so pretty," the d-bag was saying. "I'd hate to never see a pretty face like yours again."

"I'm sorry, but I have a boyfriend," You shook your head, looking at him through sorrowful eyes -- you were playing the part well for a single woman. He knew you would try and lie your way out of it.

For the first time since the one-sided conversation had begun, the guy looked irritated. His brow quirked, lip twitching into a frown. "Oh, what," he persisted. "Your man won't let you have any friends?"

Choso slipped a cool arm around your small frame. You tensed beneath his touch, but only for a moment.

"No," He deadpanned, tourmaline eyes glaring daggers at the much shorter man. "He won't."

The guy's eyes went wide. He waved his hands around anxiously, stammering out, "I had no idea, I'm sorry!"

You glared at choso, but, fuck, the way you looked at him through those pretty lashes of yours... he didn't even care. you looked like an angry little kitten, or some shit.

"This guy bothering you?" He hummed. (in hindsight, it sounded a bit cliche, but he had seen it in one of the soap opera's you had forced him to watch).

You didn't reply. At least, not before the guy did.

He bowed his head. "No, I was just leaving."

Then he was gone a moment later. In his absence, you pulled Choso's arm off of you.

"I had that handled," You told him.

My ass.

He nearly snorted. "I can see that."

Still, he let you take his hand and guide him over to one of the tables off to the side of the cafe. Taking a seat across from you, he watched you move with soft eyes.

"So," You began, plopping down across from him. "Boyfriend, huh?"

Choso's eyes shot open at that, smug look dissipating from his expression entirely. His face began to burn a bit, something it tended to do when you were around.

"Sorry," He sighed sheepishly. "It was the only thing I could think of in the moment."

"I could get used to calling you that, you know," You said, and you nearly knocked the breath from his lungs in the process.

Choso felt like he was about to pass out. After a moment, he laid his head down against the tabletop, shielding himself from your gaze.

"I didn't mean to embarrass you!" You said, tapping the top of his messy bun. "I'm sorry!"

So much for being the knight in shining armor.
