Sitting on a dusty bench in the park, Yunju sighed and looked at the trees above her.
Watching the wind blow through the leaves and hearing the sounds of screaming children slowly disappear she sighed and smiled, feeling at peace.
That peace, however, was interrupted when she heard footsteps approaching, the sound of snapping branches close behind.
She turned to see that Heeseung the person she was waiting for had finally arrived. The girl let out an exasperated groan, rolling her eyes, and standing up.
"Dude what the hell! We were supposed to meet at 12:45, It's already 1:00!" She yelled at him.
He made an innocent face and replied teasingly, "Really? I totally thought we were meeting at 1:00,"
"You're the one who suggested 12:45, and you show up late! I've been waiting for so long! Do you hear how loud those kids are?" The girl yelled, wanting to strangle him.
"Oh, you were waiting for me? That's so nice of you, but I'm gonna have to decline your confession," he sighed, making an embarrassed face.
"When you get hurt one day, it will be one of the best days of my life," Yunju spitefully retorted, "Now come on let's go,"
She grabbed her things and turned to walk away, with Heeseung following slowly behind her.
The two walked side-by-side in silence towards their destination, mostly because Yunju was still mad and Heeseung was enjoying the sound of her angry mumbling.
"Hey, you still mad?" Heeseung asked a little bored. The only answer he received was the increased pace of Yunju's walking and more angry grumbles.
He chuckled and sped up to catch up with her.
Eventually, he was close to reaching her completely, until she abruptly stopped seeing a crowd of people gathered around what looked like a small stage.
Heeseung finally caught up with her, a little out of breath, "You sure can walk fast,"
Noticing her silence, he turned to see what she was staring at. He looked at the crowd of people and then back at Yunju, confused.
Her hands started shaking and her breath became hitched, which didn't go unnoticed by Heeseung.
Though her face looked calm, inside she was terrified and started backing away slowly.
It seemed like she was never going to move until Heeseung grabbed her arm and pulled her away from the crowd.
'Did he notice? Shit, I thought I worked through this!' She thought.
Heeseung continued to hold her arm until they arrived inside the store.
He quickly let go and cleared his throat to say, "You were taking too long and you sounded like you wanted to get here quickly,"
"Um yeah, good call," she replied awkwardly, tucking some hair behind her ear. She watched him leave to get a cart, while she started going aisles.

After buying what they needed for the club's next meeting, Yunju and Heeseung were walking to the bus stop once again in silence.
Yunju was still embarrassed about what Heeseung had seen, leaving an uncomfortable silence between them. Starting from the moment they entered the store to now.
Heeseung glanced over at her, debating whether or not he should ask her about what happened earlier with the crowd.
It was the first time he'd ever seen her react to anything like that. In all the time he's known her, she's been this seemingly fearless person.
Getting bored with the silence, since they've never been this quiet before, Heeseung cleared his voice to ask, "So..., what was that back that there?"
"Hmm? What do mean?" she questioned, apparently pretending to not understand what he was talking about.
"You know, earlier with the crowd. When your hands were shaking and-,"
"That was nothing, shut up!" she shouted cutting him off.
'This is so embarrassing! Why'd there have to be a crowd today?' she thought, eventually speeding up the pace of her walking, all the way to the bus stop.

Hi everyone!
It's been maybe 2 weeks?
Sorry about that
But with procrastination, making things for my friends, and a little writer's block I've, been a little busy.
But I've definitely gotten out of the habit of updating every Thursday so that's good 🥲
This chapter was like a last-minute 4 am idea, (which is why it's shorter) but an idea, and I feel like it kind of helps the story
It's also something a little.
