KENTRELL DESEAN GAULDEN OCTOBER 7th, 2022 ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Kentrell walked out the boys locker room with his Apple AirPods Max headphones. It was officially basketball season and it was tryouts day.
He had on a black basketball shorts with a black polo shirt. He topped it off with some black and brown retro 3's Jordan's.
He made his way to the gym, opening the door and loud chatter filled his ears with the music still playing in his ear.
Kentrell sat down on the blue bleachers face deep in the phone scrolling through Instagram. He felt a presence walked up to him making him look seeing Jayda standing in front of him.
"Hey Kentrell" Jayda smiled down at him after he took his headphones off.
He nodded his head at her with a confused expression, he wanna know why she was over here by him but he didn't wanna be rude.
"Umm can I sit there?" Jayda pointed next to where he was sitting at. He shrugged scooting over so she won't be too close to him.
She sat down glancing over at kentrell who was typing away on his phone. She lightly tapped him and he snapped his head over at her.
"You trying out for basketball?" Jayda asked the obvious question. Kentrell looked down at his appearance before slowly looking up at her.
"I wouldn't have this shorts on for no reason" Kentrell told her and she chuckled hiding her embarrassment as she look around the gymnasium.
"Where you from because you don't sound like you from down here?" Jayda tried to change the subject as he folded his headphones before putting it up in his backpack.
