Today my boyfriend invited me out to dinner but I had to refuse because I had work today. I felt bad but my career is way more important to me at the moment. I got out of bed, took a shower, and got ready for work

2 hours later..

I was going over the documents for the Depp V Mandel case when I heard two knocks on the door.

~ Come in Ben. - I say sighing.

~ Hello kid! - Johnny comes in smiling.

~ What are you doing here? - i say shocked.

~ I came to see you.

~ The meeting isn't until tomorrow..

~ I know, but I wanted to talk to you alone.

~ Okay. What do you wanna talk about? - She says looking at him with wide eyes.

~ I want to get to know you.

~ Okay, what do you want to know.

~ Anything. - Camille looks at him and laughs nervously.

~ Well I'm 33 years old, I was born and raised in Southern California, and I graduated law school in 2010.. - Camille continues telling him about herself.

~ Wow. That's impressive.

~ Thank you. - She says smiling.

~ If you don't mind me asking, are you dating anyone?

~ Yeah, but I don't think it's gonna last long. - She says with a bewildered look on her face.

~ Why? Are you not happy?

~ To be honest, no I'm not.

~ I'm sorry to hear that. Why are you still with him then?

~ I'm afraid that at my age I won't find anyone new.

~ Life is all about taking risks. You never know, you may find love again.

~ Yeah I don't think I can convince you. I wanted to ask if you wanted to go out to dinner.

~ Goodbye. - She says giving him a kiss on the cheek. Her lips stay there for a while until Johnny clears his throat. Camille quickly moves away and Johnny leaves the office.

5:00 PM

I was finishing my pending tasks and getting ready to head out when Jessica comes into my office.

~ Hey Cami! Why are you leaving so early? We had to stay till 7:00 today.

~ Yeah but I asked Ben if I could leave early and he said yes.

~ Where are you going?

~ I am going out for dinner.

~ With who? Did you and Andrew make up? Jessica says in a shocked tone.

~ I'm not going with Andrew.

~ I can't say.

~ Whoever it is, I am very happy because the way you are blushing right now says that you are genuinely in love.
