Laa Laa pulled up to the Saskatoon Co-op in her bright yellow BMW, her mitten-covered hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. She had been driving for hours and was in desperate need of a fill-up.
As she parked at the gas pump, a friendly attendant approached her window. "Hello there, ma'am. How can I help you today?" he asked with a smile.
"I need a full tank, please," Laa Laa replied, her voice muffled by her mittens.
"Sure thing. Just give me a moment to fill it up for you," the attendant said as he grabbed the nozzle and began pumping gas into her car.
Laa Laa watched as the numbers on the pump climbed higher and higher. She couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as her car was being taken care of.
Once the tank was full, the attendant returned to her window. "That'll be $50, please," he said.
Laa Laa handed him the money and thanked him for his help. As she drove away from the Co-op, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the convenience of having a reliable gas station nearby.
And with a full tank of gas, she was ready to hit the road again, her yellow BMW shining brightly in the sunlight.
