1: meet Isla

About Isla:
• she Is Taylor's adopted daughter

• She is 15 ( born on the 7th of August 2008)

• She was 10 when she was adopted by Taylor (around 2018 )

• even though she's live in America for a little over 5 years, she still gets confused on some things

• she has a very thick accent which sometimes makes it hard for non-aussies to understand what she's trying to say

Backstory

• ever since Isla was you her parents have always fought. No matter what the issue at hand may be whether it's big or small, it always end up in an argument. This is how it was and how she thought it would always be, until her 8th birthday. Isla was in her room, playing with her new birthday presents when an argument emerged. This was the fight that ended it all. After that day they quickly filled for divorce. Everything in the settlement meant went rather smoothly, until it got to Isla. Most parents fight over their children for affection and custody but not her parents. Nether one of the pair wanted to take the girl so they quickly agreed to put her up for adoption. But this to came with there on set of problems. Every local orphanage was full of children and didn't have the space or resources to take care of her. They looked and looked until they found a place.the only problem was it was in America, Nashville to be exact. It was a long way the they agreed it was better then having to take care of Isla

Isla was at this orphanage for about 2 years before she was adopted. Most couples didn't like her as she was rather blunt and had a witty sharp tongue . This combination along with her only having a slim knowledge of American things was a recipe for doom, well at least until Taylor can along

Taylor had always loved children and now she wanted one for her own but she was slightly scared of the thought of childbirth, so adoption seemed like the perfect root. It only took one look before Taylor knew that Isla was the one. As soon as she heard her accent she knew that she was the perfect fit

Joe never really loved Isla. Sure he liked her, but love? That was too strong of a word for him. Isla never knew that thought because in her eyes he was the perfect dad.
