CHAPTER SIXTY-EIGHT

I love getting ready, playing some music as I do my makeup is my favorite part of the day "Looking beautiful as always" Leo said kissing me on my forehead as he placed a cup of tea on my vanity "Thanks" I smiled as I applied my blush "why are you leaving so early?" it was almost 6 am and I was already ready to leave, I had tons of meeting that have been rescheduled many times before so thought I'd get started with that "work my love" I replied getting my bag.

I hate to admit this but physio dramatically improved my movement in the last few days it's not perfect but it's better than not moving at all "alright I'll drop you then" he said as he escorted me to the car, Leo looked more miserable then he has ever been. I tried asking what was bothering him but he said it was nothing.

he got out of the car to open the door for me when we arrived at HQ "Don't forget about the gathering at 6, i'll pick you up at 5?" he asked "Yeah sure thanks" I replied as he helped me get into my wheelchair i hate using a wheelchair it's the absolute worse. "morning Vozenilek" said Alice handing me a bunch of folders "they need to be signed for the restaurant" she answered when she saw the confused look on my face "you also have a meeting with Riku and Sato at 3" she said "why the hell does the Japanese mafia want me?" I asked confused "Beats me" she shrugged leaving me alone in my office.

Hours after hours of boring meetings it is finally time for lunch which I'm spending with Adri and Lori since both Alice and Sofe have other important things to do "How therapy?" adri asked as she helped me get into the car "Good" I asked "do you mean that?" Lori asked "Yeah I do" I responded as the driver started to drive "Where are we going?" I asked wearing my seatbelt "Salt" responded Adri with a smirk "Love your taste" I chuckled.

after we ordered we talked for a while you know the usual "So how's Leo?" asked Lori raising her eyebrows "Did you guys drop the L bomb yet?" she asked curiously "Yeah ages ago" I blushed "You guys are so cute together when will you have kids? i want to be an aunt" Adri said catching me off guard "go have your own babies if you're desperate" i told her "my dad doesn't let me have friends who are boys let alone a boyfriend" she sighed taking a sip of her virgin colada "you're only 16 Adri you have you're whole life for that" said Lori "says the twenty four year old" she remarked making us laugh "no for real Adri enjoy your freedom" i advised "what freedom? my dad is the spanish don for crying out loud" she covered her face with both her hands.

I had to end my lunch break short due to the meeting with the Japanese mafia, they are not to mess with, literally. "nice to see you again Aurora" said Riku shaking my hands "you too" i said taking a seat beside Al "i'm sorry but i really need to be somewhere so if we can just get this over with" i said, i had a meeting with the mechanics and then i have to go see the new restaurant "as we know im currently the don of the Japanese mafia and we need a new alliance together" he said handing me a file "is a list of supplies you will get from our behalf as well as some things we need from you. I'm here till next week to make up your mind" he said adjusting his tie "thanks for this Riku and Sato we will contact you for a follow up in a few days" said Al standing up to shake their hands.

"miss Vozenilek," said James one of my best mechanics "We're done with your car," he said handing me the keys, about three weeks ago I asked my team to design a car for me that has autopilot and car monitors as well as an easy access entrance which means that the car will shift and go out and under so I can get in the driver's seat with ease "you guys don't know how much I've missed driving" i sighed as i hopped in the car "it's our pleasure" replied James.

By the time i finished with my team i called Oli to take me to the new restaurant which will open in less than a month "oh wow" i said as Oli helped me get out of the car "Beautiful isn't it" he said with a smile "is this how you pictured it miss Vozenilek?" said Ethrum, my main construction worker "it's even better than what i expected" i gasped. I didn't expect this, its gorgeous and i can't believe it's mine "wanna check inside?" asked OLi "hell yeah"

"The restaurant looks as breathtaking as it did the last time I came." i said as i stared at the city below me "Who's invited to the opening?" Oli asked "I'm not sure yet" i replied "did you like the furniture it was all sofe and a bit of me and Alice" he said "its perfect"

When i arrived at headquarters it was already 5 and Leo's car was parked outside waiting for me "hello love" he said helping me into his car, i greeted him back "how was ur day" he asked starting the car "amazing what about yours?" I sighed "good, i had a lot of meeting with my team" I smiled back at him before staring out the window.
